Island is full. How about adding more space?
Current pay to win sees too many people leaving.
Win?
What am I winning here?
please remove this quest if we destroy love garden... a place of relaxtion.... i remove all my love garden but this quest remain in my quest scince last valentine year :)

Not sure what this has to do with the change log?
But I strongly agree, please give us the option to remove the quest

Agreed...
As far as I know, when there's an active love garden quest (such as for example find X copper deposits) and you remove all gardens, then once the quest is complete the "place of relaxation" won't show up anymore.
When it comes to space on any island, the game has always been about making choices and keeping (or not) a balanced economy. Adding more space does make, in that regard, much sense even though BB has given us more mountains/rocks to be removed as well as those new small buildings to place on the water with a tiny footprint.
Remove some of your pop buildings on your island and you'll gain some space already :)

I have the same problem, my island is full and impossible to move things around so the Love Garden works, I just want rid of getting new Quests.
Like the choice of buildings for upgrade this round. And I guess the costs will be astronomical, so not much of a use in the end. :)
Intrigued that the lowly residence was included previously, and now we jump to the manor leaving out the nobles?
It is good that there are these upgrades etc, but please, please try to stop the appalling lag in the game, it is making it awful to play. Thanks
would it be possible to add the ability to cancel a love garden quest?

Hear! hear! I've been playing for over 5 years and not reached level 50 yet because I am reluctant to pay to advance.

Can BB explain this?
"Achievements for the 2020 Christmas event have been removed."
I haven't got any acheivements for 2020... Or does it mean there won't be a Xmas 2020 here :p

dont have that either did however have presents listed as a resource for the valentine event
Not sure who is in charge of your upgrade prices but he/she must be drunk. A normal storehouse costs 500 oil to lev 7 but an island storehouse cost 5000, this can't be right? So in theory the imp storehouse is probably 20000 oil judging by BB standard. I dread to see what a lev 7 endless mine will cost eventually.
Pls put the island storehouse back to 500 oil, no amount of explanation can justify the difference between storehouse price so it has to be a mistake!
It could be because it has a smaller footprint....or a joke.... I mean you can't say the devs have not got a sense of humour. I mean come on they have given us the chance to get cheese sandwiches for a mere 30 guild coins in the latest guild vote. Don't know about the rest of you but that had me in stitches :D
It is good that there are these upgrades etc, but please, please try to stop the appalling lag in the game, it is making it awful to play. Thanks
Not really related to the change log - but about the lag, have a look at task manager and the resources for flash - mine continually increase. When it hits about 1.5 Gb of RAM, the "lag" starts" - close the browser and start again. If I do this every couple of hours the lag is bearable.....

I cannot see why everyone keeps complaining about space. It is about balancing your ecconomy.
Why do you still need so many lvl 3/4 buildings when upgrading to lvl 6 needs fewer spaces, and then see what improved buildings exist. Get them slowly in the ongoing events and level them up, then delete the standard buildings. Warehouse nearly 3/4 million, full except for elite goods, and main island now had lots of empty space.
Yes I have bought 2 gem pits before stupid prices were introduced, so I have all the outer islands, no I don't gem anything else.
I am quite happy that we now have level 7 on some buildings - assuming then game is still with us in a year I shall probably have upgraded 4-5 buildings by then - nice and slow.
And on to love gardens - sold mine as even I cannot see how I can get all my Mag Res and Ginger Houses into one small area just to use the buff - please let us cancel the love garden quest.

It really isnt when BB introduces buildings like one of the new ones producing resources needed for lvl 7 upgrades that are deliberately unupgradable, and production is deliberately so low you really want at least 4-5 of those., which you need space for.

Considering the fact that production increases are linear (which means later upgrades diminish in value), if it takes a year to upgrade 4-5 buildings I wouldnt call it nice, I would call it defeating the entire purpose of upgrades.

Start and end times please?
Is it posible to put a special general like YGG for example, in the "Epic items" with a price for beans or stalks in some other change log?
Thanks

i am level 53 and i do not pay any money to play the game,
i use premium we have been given by BB on events which increase your xp and event items which in turn levels you up as you go.
i have been playing the game for about 3 years now.

Was there a point to this statement if so I missed it.
need quicker book and codex building especially when smaller levels
I still have a lot of quest that are hang. For example, they wait for me to have 100 coal produced/12 hours. But now I produce something around 43k...in the quest is still waiting...
To stop all buildings and restart...I have something around 100 buildings...no way.

Having plenty of prod buildings is logical as you grow and "only" 100 buildings is down average nowadays...
But no doubt you thought of boosting (or having boosted by friends/guildies dropping buffs) your epic woodyard while you selected coal prod only in there.
Furthermore, thanks to the economy overview you can see which buildings consume coal, thus making it easy by clicking on each one to temporarily stop it before applying a quick buff. A fish platter is all you need to quickly stop your consumption of coal, thus bringing the netto output of coal way over the 100k mark.
Quest completed, restart the buildings you briefly paused and onto the next quest!
Please don't tell me you can't find the time to do that while your gens take 15 mins to travel to any adventure?
Sigh...
Let's face it, the game is turning more and more like a pay-to-win game all of the time. Some people are happy with that I suppose, and I've seen other players' islands that have been, without a doubt, built using a lot of purchased Gems - they must have spent well over £200 to have obtained the buildings, mines and endless pits that they have
Yeah, I suppose you could do it without purchasing Gems, but I reckon after level 52-53ish you'll be playing for ever unless you do! :(
Each to their own I suppose...
But yet again we come to the very serious problem with the loss of Flash. I can't understand why BlueByte/Ubisoft are being totally ignorant towards their customers, and have not even released a brief statement explaining and reassuring players regarding this imminent problem.
Or is it that are BlueByte/Ubisoft is going to disappear with all of the monies ploughed into the game and that'll be the end of The Settlers Online?
I have no idea of what you mean !?! .. I'm level 67 and only spend around 20£ in the beginning of the game and have plenty of buildings I got at events or via trade office.
Now .. I did save up for a gempit, and then focused getting new pit's - without using any gems for anything but that - which gave me a possibility to get some endless mines etc. If you focus a little on production and getting some trades you can get most things.
And regarding the flash stop they already have released a .. I think they call it a small client - a long time ago, so they are working on that :-).

There is one tiny leeettle problem with that. It requires Flash to run. It's just a dedicated lightweight browser off the Chromium project. That's nota fix at all, and people now suddenly being unable to log in through it and Steam tells us they not quite sussed it.
Anyone on North Isle are welcome to check what 4€ for an offline voucher can buy you... or maybe it so happens all of it was bought with what can be gotten in-game.
Furthermore, as much as I hate to point it out, any money spent on game technically goes to keeping it up so far. It in no way obligates BB to keep it open indefinitely.
That said, the danger of Flash going will loom over us until they do a proper fix, e.g. porting clientside to something with a future (no that is not HTML5).
Flash is ending development, that does not mean it will no longer be available. Any argument to the contrary is as stupid as saying you cant buy a 2019 model car because it's now 2020.

False.
It has been said specifically that all major browsers will stop supporting flash by the end of 2020. It takes literally 20 seconds to google it up.
What it means is not that the codebase will no longer be developed, it means anyone that allows browser updates by the end of the year will no longer be able to use flash for any purposes.

OMG! I won't be able to play this game on Google Chrome after this December. What to do? Panic!

And discovered vulnerabilities in flash will not be patched.
And BB would need to maintain their slim fork for potential chromium based vulnerabilities,
The vulnerabilities are only an issue if you visit a site which exploits them with flash enabled.
When flash gets disabled for chrome then it probably means pepper flash will completely stop working (what would be the point of installing it along side chrome and having it using drive space if it's disabled?), which in turn will break the thin client.
Quite a few of the browsers are open source though, one of them could be forked so that the normal adobe flash client is fully enabled whilst also preventing the browser from visiting sites other than settlers online, probably quite similar to how the thin client works.
one of them could be forked so that the normal adobe flash client is fully enabled whilst also preventing the browser from visiting sites other than settlers online, probably quite similar to how the thin client works.
The other side of the issue is though, the more niche solution you produce the fewer players will bother, and the game functions in such a way it might very well end up unplayable for you even if you're able to access it.
So its not only about whether or not a technical solution to the flash question exists.
The Advanced Toolmaker building graphic has been adjusted to be consistent with other buildings
Sorry but I don't see any change... The building still doesn't look visually consistent with other buildings.
What was it supposed to be exactly?
Problem with flash is that, it isn't public domain software. It is not only plugin to your browser, but whole bunch of tools, that Adobe is licensing and selling to software studios.
Adobe can stop selling it, and they can block licenses, so BB will be in the dark *** with this game. We don't know agreements between BB and Adobe, so let's hope they got some good ones.
