View Full Version : Foot of the Mountain Bug (possibly other MCC adv's as well)
Today I have been doing Foot of the Mountain again, an adventure I have done many times.
I cleared the early camps to remove the fog, buffed the 5 village buildings and buffed the gate with the received key.
The key was taken from Star Menu but the gate didnt open and the quest didnt complete. Logging out, clearing cache, waiting over 15 minutes and then logging back in didnt help,
I have logged a ticket and apparently its a known issue that the Devs are already working on.
Its a shame that BB dont post known problems on the home page or this forum but hopefully this post will stop another player starting the adventure and not being able to complete it.
I have also heard this has happened to other players on other Mountain Clan adventures. Be warned fellow settlers and hope you dont get stuck on this or other MCC adventures.
Too late for me mate. And at least other 2 people. The really ironic part is I only started it so I could profit from eventual eventual apology email for when they next mess it up. I must be psychic.
Same thing for me, don't know if I should sit it out or just cancel it, I sent a ticket and was told 'they are aware of the problem', that's reassuring news isn't it :rolleyes:
I have the same problem. My son, too. I can't go on, and I don't want to lose the whole chain of MMC ventures

in unknown region, the clothes used does not remove the buff as it should do, neither does it count as added clothes in the quest
I had a problem late last night, my ticket was answered overnight. I'm stuck in Mountain Labyrinth - dynamite and shovels do not clear the boulder or snow piles. I got the usual "several people blah blah" response.
So now do I wait for a fix? Or cancel the adventure and effectively have to start the whole MC campaign from scratch?
Even if there is a fix I have used the buffs so I cannot apply them again.
Why cannot BB accomplish the simplest customer service task?
Why not send me a Mountain Labyrinth adventure and a dynamite buff and say "sorry we screwed up - we'll let you know when the fix is applied?" I've still lost the resources used to build the 4 excavation tools.

Please also understand that if we do not receive an answer to this email within 48 hours, we will consider this case to be closed. In such an event, you will need to create a new ticket.
shock , horror , it seems they don`t want to help and expect it to just time out in 48 hrs so they can ignore it as usual , i`m getting severely disappointed , this is the 2nd time of doing this chain and the 2nd failure due to bugs in the chain. and its 80 frags each time just to start the chain . let alone all the expensive materials required to try and complete it and the troop losses. ithis really is turning me away from this game now , and we still don`t know what they are planning in December when flash goes.
I think its definatley time to stop spending real cash on a dubious game.

Looks like I was lucky this week, got through to Giant Battle with no probs, so I'll leave that for later. Guildy however had a problem with it yesterday, she started the adventure with the dynamite from PotM, but when she went to use it, it was gone and the logout ritual didn't work. Extremely stingy and mean of them not to recompense people with a Foot of the Mountain, where on earth is the harm in being 'generous' to people who have had problems.

Same for me as OP in FotM.
Same BS response from support, my responsibility to keep the ticket open.
No guidance to wait, cancel or whatever.

It is advised to not start the adventures. If they did so and are stuck, they can delete the adventures and inform the support. The supportteam will send out the adventures after some checks and will remind them TO NOT START the MCC adventures until further info of us is being noted on the webpage.
And has this solution been forwarded to support? Because they don't seem to have any idea about nor have I received a new map or nay instruction as to what I'm supposed to do.
Just seen the announcement on homepage so wont start any mc but like before I expect everyone lev 65 or over to get a nice compensation package, 3 x mc venture in the last reward so hoping for the same again...

so. i have had Foot of the Mountain running for a few days which is also stuck on opening the gate. does each person have to log a ticket? should i cancel the adventure? do i need to take a screen shot to prove im stuck?

Following that 'advice' I cancelled mine, informed support and have so far received.... yep you guessed it, nothing :(
I think it is not only MCC but also evil queen campaign. Few weeks ago i was stuck with snow white and after i sent screenshots with proof of my premium time used,addy completed they decided to give me back the addy( no compensation for the time waste and troops lost tho, just the addy) and today in help i saw someone stuck on hansel and gretel so i think both chains are bugged

Well I'll be damned. I was just about to start a Hansel and Gretel cause I need to do a venture and can't do MCC. Not gonan try that then.

Im stuck exactly at this moment, doesn't count towards quest . waste of time. I thought i will play MCC to get some obsidian.....

Besides the message said: "after some checks". But you already know that; you just choose to be in bad faith.
It was never said you'd get your map within x hours or days, so what's the rush? MCC's still bugged anyway.
Wait, just like the rest of us, and eventually you'll get some map(s) back.

Have some patience pls, you can't play it anyway, let them fix it first
Seems it is other maps within the campaign i started a people of the mountain map as i was told it was fine the bug only affected the foot map....But i am stuck as i couldnt build the armory and only 3 of the 4 breakthrough camps appeared so that quest wont complete....and the bug is fixed from the log on the test servers why they cant apply the fix here seeing they have it is a joke
Well started 1 today, cause I thought the changelog dated yesterday. I know, I know, stupid. Ofc I got stuck hahaha
But what good is it to fix it after the springevent finishes, that's a ripp off to me since it gives a great amount of xp
Good day. i'm sorry for mistakes what i will make.Last 2 days do not work At the wood of the mountains, the key do not open gates, i canceled it.i Started another Mountain Labyrinth, provision house do not make any thing i need. Now i am trying one more time At the wood of the mountains, still same situation.Seems i need to cancel it again, so i will lost 3 very important ventures.Will you back them after all be repair? MCc chain is bugged and will hopefully be fixed with an update/maint the 24th, so don't start then and if you have problems with contact support.
Do NOT start MCC, it's still bugged.
Foot of the Mountain works now, gate opens but zone-wide-buffs in Unknown Regions are NOT working. U can use the snowboots but it does nothing, all "negative" zonebuffs like deep snow, slippery ice etc are still there!
Update:
once u start mountain labyrinth u will see that the zone-buffs u tried to deactivate in UR are really deactivated. So untill now onlu Unknown Regions is bugged
Update 2: all MCC work fine except Unknown Regions.
Response from support was: we see in our logs that u completed Unknown Regions, so the problem is solved......
Fact that it costed a lot of extra troops and attackbuffs is ignored. Also the fact that u have to recalculate almost whole map is ignored. For them finishing means "problem solved".
Seeing the same problem with Unknown, Spikes counted for the quest but still seeing Slippery ice in zone control, investigastion shows splippery ice is still affecting combat.
workaround will be to re-sim all further camps as if no gear was equiped.
Update.
Re-simming camps worked. Debuffs worked as intended in Mountain Labyrinth.
Also At the foot of the mountain has bugs, fog not lifting :(
Exactly same problem for me on Unknown Regions. None of the negative buffs are switched off when using the buffs.
Expensive losses.... make sure you use a sim if you want to play it!

Now resimming the camps to finish it.
Hope it can be fixed during the event cause it's a season adventure.
yes same for me ,got a support letter in, but it has gone into the great big black hole and no feedback been sent to me regarding the buffs staying on , showed screenshots, found this has happened after the " bug fix" for some MCC chain stuff, but now they have created another "bug" hope someone will deal with this problem new bug.
this last bug fix has created more bugs , the uk buffs are not removed,

yes as normal it goes into the BBS black hole called developers, who can never fix bugs the first time, they do not appear to have any developers who test anything they do. bad when they cause more problems with a so call fix, even worse when they make it worse,
I had same problem with regions too so reluctant to continue chain as I expect the de-buffs have completely gone..... Bit ticked as I got stuck in Giant battle with last fault (missing dynamite) and had to spend a ton of troops to find alternate route... I reported it to support ..nothing . So de-motivating maybe i got de-buffed instead of the addy.

I thought the fix adressed that as well as the key.gate

Yes it is a known issue.
Buffs do not affect UR map.
They do however work on subsequent maps.

yes this happens, no zone buffs are removed, since they "fixed " the mcc chain, done 4 now still the buffs remain, 9 april 2020

No, it is not fixed. Still the same. But the UR adventure can be played when you adapt your attacks accordingly. I've done it three times throughout this Easter event and extra losses for me are around 500 knights and 300 mounted swordmen. That's bearable given the extra loot.

it is now the 16 april 2020 a still no update from support or a mod, on when the fix is actually going to be looked into,

when will unknown region buff removal , bug be fixed, been ages since reported,
support , no good , game still not fixed, so into the developers black hole again. Customer service is none, now for problems found.

just got to POM MCC and found that the deep snow zone buff has gone and been replaced by slippery ice and snow storms, so guides is all wrong, what has BBS developers done to the last bug fix, they have now screwed up unknown regions with no buff removal, and now POM has one zone buff removed and 2 new one put on

just start Giant battle ( 22 April 2020) and got extra buffs showing slippery ice , snow storms plus the normal ones-
come on BBS sort out MCC chain bug problem, it been ages since you "said you had fixed it" but ypu have Made it worse

sort out people of the mountain , as slippery ice and snow storms have come on to that one,
and
all so
sort out unknown regions , as the above buffs slippery ice and snow storms are not being removed with correct clothes.
Please correct the MCC chain of these bugs,

I did 8 people of the mountain adv during the event didnt have a issue with any of them I play with two de-buffs and all worked as it should
when did you do unknown regions, mountain labyrinth and people of the mountain ?

The People Of The Mountain
well something is not fixed.
played as i always do.
and came to placing army construction kit,
but there is no where to place it.
have to say i am getting pretty tired of adventures not working as intended,
no use contacting support , they have not written back the last 4 times i did.
enough is enough, if its not one thing its something else not working.
and no one seems to take time to fix anything.
maybe i played to long, and its time to leave game all the same.
i've done 3 this event and all worked fine. done the quick loot version
as did i to find out this time nothing worked what a load of something to unpleasant to write about
so tonight i delete every building and delete account for good.
