Easter 2020 - which general for lower levels?

Having gathered a stack of spare eggs I am looking to help the lower levels in guild to get a new general from the shop. The question is which one to suggest from Vet, Major, Cloaked or Boris?

Now bear in mind that they are quit new to the game, still need to learn to use combat simulator properly, best troops are probably soldiers and longbows and all they have so far are tavern generals. They aren't adding to a vast crowd of generals like many of us are. Also they will probably be wiki adventure guide followers which has no Cloaked guides yet and few Boris guides for those lower level troops.

Other than cost the Major beats the Vet so that's Vet gone so.......
......which would you suggest to sort for those under level 40?

I'd suggest Boris.

Major can be obtained for stalks while Boris, as seasoned players know (and hoped he'd be available again this time round), is only available during the Easter event.
He has not even been seen in any bundle that I know of.

New(er) players will grow fast and will play more intricated adventures, where Boris will be needed/required. He is therefore a must.
Learning to use a sim and amend existing guides to the gens/troops one has at any particular time, is also part of the game.

Cloaked is in my view too specialised to be used as much as Boris, especially for lower levels, but that is only my opinion.

Also, he is completely useless prior to getting to lvl 54. Still probably the best choice considering that you can buy Major or Vet at any given point in time.

I guess you're playing any adv using only tavern gens then...

By your logic, no other gen is required but as everyone else, even you have optimised the maps you play by using different gens and my money is on Boris being high on that list.

As we have come to know Lower levels level up a lot faster they we did back in the day, for this reason I would suggest Boris. Yes he may not be of immediate use to them but in just a couple of months they will have reached the levels where he can be used. Since he can only be obtained once a year not getting him now will mean a long wait until the opportunity to get him comes around again.

However there is one question. How many eggs do you have to donate to them and how many of the lowers are you hoping to help as this may place a cap of how much you can afford to donate to each one. You may have to choose between helping some to get Boris or all of them to get a MG or Vet.

Good question Dorotheus. We have 4 players under level 50. At them moment I have 26k eggs of my own that I am happy to give away and the guild will happily chip in, so numbers aren't an issue.

As said above, getting to level 47 isn't so hard these days at which point we can sort them a Major from stalks. So could be Boris is best and maybe throw in a Vet for luck?

Id say get Boris to more people rather than spend anything on Vet.

Once having Major you dont benefit from Vet until much later, when they can get one themselves.

Boris has a useful unique ability so I would prioritise that over the others.

Major is useful if they don't already have the older Gemini or another Major.

The Cloaked Gen might be useful, its hard to tell at the moment.

I would avoid buying any vets, more players with Boris and at least one 270+ Capacity Gen would be better.
