1 day a year to freely (without costs) move your buildings

a lot of people have been in this game from the beginning and have their buildings positioned, after some time you realise that some or most of the building are not positioned well, and need to move, but it costs a lot of resources to do it, so please make it happen that we can move our buildings around on the map freely for 1 or 2 days per year.

It happened once a very very long time ago and it was according to BB a catastrophe for their servers, which struggled back then with the sheer amount of data to process, and servers are nowadays not what they used to be (back then, there were more servers which have been merged overtime).

Moving a building doesn't cost much if you have your economy sets up to sustain the choices you make in this game, and that is exactly what this game is about.
It has never been about getting everything without moving much of a finger and especially for free.

As you show being a player since 2014, I would hope you can afford most (if not all) the moving costs and otherwise no doubt you have guildies or friends in game willing to loan you out what you might need.

Last but not least, there's always the test server to... well, test what you can do or what might not work best for you at any time. And it's free there.

I'm sorry to say but this game still has some strategy about it and as long as we accept its limitations, as well as our own, then it is perfectly acceptable to pay the few resources (because we're never asked to part with say 10k grout or oil for example to move anything) required to move buildings around.

This request appears regularly and yet BB has never departed from their original answer many years ago: we tried but we won't ever do it again.
