Zone load for friend or guild member isle occasionally fails to complete

I have noticed that when loading the isle of a friend or guild member the loading phase sometimes fails to complete, the game remains locked in transition with the 'loading map' progress message. Adventures don't seem to have this problem. I have noticed it with online friends, not sure about offline. I can reliably restart the game and load the same isle to resolve. I know of others experiencing this occasionally also. Any thoughts?
