Endless iron mine with 100% faster mined deposit

I have just received the Charming Geologist which can discover iron deposits which can be mined 100% faster.
If I place an endless iron mine on one of the deposits, will it be mining at double speed?

I have tried the same with endless coal mine and endless copper mine and they both mine at double speed - so I expect the endless iron mine to behave the same.

The problem is that I have already build two endless iron mines on normal mining speed iron deposits.
If I remove the two endless iron mines, will they be lost or will they reappear in the star menu?

They will reappear in star menu so u have to destroy them, search for fast deposit, then build and upgrade them again
But what u did with coal and copper mines are with geo skills, charming geo only finds iron/tit/salt fast depos

Not only that. I used the skill that finds an extra iron mine in sector 8. When he finds it, u put endless mine and take half books back, since there is only one extra mine. Takes several attempts, but i think it pays off.

When you get Pathfinder you need the codex level skill to complete a weekly Pathfinder quest you might get for finding marble deposits.
