Swan Boat still way overpriced, better and upgradeable buildings are on offer in the same event for a fraction of that cost. :(

Basically 11k eggs for a decoration, in the same event could get 3 treehouses which each have the same population capacity at their lowest level.
With the lack of space most of us are facing, it's a no-brainer.
If they really wanted something "exclusive", could add the Scottish flag for say 15k eggs? ;)

The Adventurous Explorers for footballs are not in merchant :(

I have no football field on the middle island I have logged out numerous times done several of the event quests yet still has not shown up and as support is broke I cant message them Is it needed for event or just visual effect

You have to finish the first quest of "A host of responsibility".

Dev Diary Update

Dear settlers,

We have made the following adjustments/clarifications:


The Adventurous Explorer is not available for Footballs on her own, but is available via the "Summer Booster" Bundle for Footballs.
The Swan Boat's in-game description incorrectly states "150 Population" - however once purchased it will provide the correct 210 Population.
The Capacious Warehouse in-game is actually located in the Architect Category for Gems, not the Event Category.



Additionally, we're aware that players were not able to successfully run the "Practice Match" adventure awarded from the first Calendar Door. Therefore we will be sending all eligible players the "Practice Match" adventure soon - keep an eye on your in-game mails!

We apologise for any confusion or frustration caused.

Problems with the practice game disappearing after clicking on it. Still hasn't reappeared. Anyone else had this problem? Game works fine otherwise

oh right... besides token mint lovers statue was only thing that was worth in that bundle... now we get another overhyped warehouse :( and a scared explo which is good but still shady

Ugly swan boat, must be the same designer as Excelsior, just as ugly and does not really match the original game design.
Besides from that it only holds 210 settlers and cost the same as 2 wondrous - you can keep it.

Of course there is. You just need to stop eating sour grapes every morning. Have you heard the saying "Beauty is in the eye of beholder"? The opposite is true also. :)

There must be something attractive about the game which keeps you playing and coming here to show your interest in the game. :)

Yes there is - or I would not be playing, but there is none of the new stuff that is appealing,- so might not stay for much longer.
I don't need new useless stuff to clutter my already crowded island, I don't need more gens or explorers. It is already too complicated to sent gens to an adventure and many days I simply cant be bothered any longer. It takes ages to sent explorers, so I simply stopped sending them.

What I need is new goals in the game, quests, achievements, and new fresh adventures I have not done before a 100 times. Adventurers that are not either red or white, so they make my eyes hurt, and where the gens move in a speed that does not make me fall asleep.

after playing for a long time , it's hard to find any attraction to new/old/repeating events

i'm not saying that you're all sorted, but comfortable and not wanting to change/gather/help out

i'm only 2-3 years into the game and already have my island sorted/my levels maxed out but i'm still playing/helping/changing

i'm not saying i'm not as limited in thinking the game like the others, but with every event you can improve smtg on your account, if you really want to.

the negativity that's all around the forum and chats put a lot of distance between myself and them. i'm sure i'll gladly do without for a while

If you want the event to bring more activity, you need to raise the amount of fb we get from adventures. This year it has not been worth the trouble making an effort to do adventures during event. Think most was just seeing what they could get from explorers. Not that much interesting anyway for high level players.
