PvP Locked since the game downgraded

Yesterday after the game was downgraded i thought I'd try a PvP.
I completed the Huge map and went back to home island to activate set up defenses, i placed a building but i cant put troops in it, the button to activate it is grayed out, i cant close the adv so i cant start any others, if i click on the adv it asks me to invite a friend or do it via email?

I too had problems with PvP yesterday, not only had the extra slot that I bought with gems gone but I didnt get any PvP xp in loot. just star coins (I am level 80)
I managed to build the defences but when I returned to claim the colony it had gone, loot and details were still in mail, so will wait for a while before do any more

wow 2 ppl playing pvp and here was i thinking it was another total load of old tosh
