Some ways to make up for the frustration:
1. Anyone who levels up during the current shambles gets triple gems.
2. Anyone who completes an adventure during the current shambles gets triple xp.
3. Anyone who manages to see this through to the end jumps 3 levels. (l.78, 79, 80 players need to come up with their own suggestion. I have no idea what it's like playing at such a rarified level, so will leave it to those who know)
4. We get one gem for every time we're bumped off chat just because we travel between an adventure and our home island.
5. We get 1000 granite for every time we cannot send out an explorer first time of trying
I don't want compensation, I just want the previous client back. It would also be nice if the people at BB realised the person who authorised the release of the unity client in its current condition should not be working there. They just keep making terrible decision after terrible decision.

Compensation True, people who bought gems for the last three months or so, should be reimbursed because we are not enjoying our money worth. Or if they can at least give us the client version or a working version, we still get some percentage of our bought gems, to compensate for not being able to use what we bought with our gems.
still in the wrong forum so the message wont land - test forums are known to be ignored by the devs - Maybe traffer scans em but thats the extent of it on the whole

Well here is an idea. Let everyone who are still trying to play the game in this stage play with premium on and pfb- then maybe more will stay on - as long as we are all now test pilots on these additional test servers.

Oh my, what a silly idea. Problem is not compensation or incentives. Problem is Game Unplayable. I don't want any premium etc running when I can't play the game. Premiums etc wasted is actually the main reason why people ask for compensation in the first place. That would just make more people mad being given a "gift" which they can't use.
well they did say they need to fix a few small technical hiccups first :P
I've lost 1 day's PFB - not too worried about that - but 20 days premium have disappeared. BB-Traffer talks as if there are a few minor technical issues to fix when almost nothing (except Excelsior) works as well as it did. Things that do work are cumbersome. All I'm doing is the odd simple quest & sending out explorers & that is an irdeal in tiself.
Getting those premium days back is certainly needed for any day since unity launch

I agree with those who feel compensation should be given, particularly for those who have paid for premium and now can't play the game. After all, Premium costs money (gems) and when we can't play, it's being wasted.
I know some people are continuing to do adventures. Good for them. I've done only simple adventures for quests, and as few of those as possible. The other day I was doing Outlaws and clicked to send a general on the left side of the map to his attack. A few minutes later, I noticed an extra general on the right side of the map heading out to attack. The general I clicked on was still sitting in camp. Trying to run adventures in these conditions is self-punishing.
regards all the comments, one wonders what BB would be doing if players could perhaps take them to the courts as this is clearly not right under the trade desc acts, but sadly we don't in general pay for the game
I don't care so much about compensation. First and foremost I want the game playable again. I do symphatise though with players who have PFB and such running and can't use it. My PFB finished just before the Unity. I am pretty sure we will get something once the game is running, so really, that should not be our biggest concern right now.
Like Norton, just want a playable version we can enjoy.
There is one, just BB need to swallow their pride and go back to it before everyone gives up on them.

As you said Qualan, patience.
BB have always kindly compensated us in the past, usually at start of events.
Losing out on prem and pfb is unfortunate, but we all knew this was not going to go smoothly and its not the end of the world (that was a rubbish event a little while ago). There's no need to be making demands on BB guys, i'm sure they'll make up for any inconvenience when the time is right :)

First they need to make a playable game. And I have no faith that BB will be able to do that. Everything that is wrong now was wrong and reported on Unity test forums, nothing was fixed before they went live.
Why should I believe they will fix it now?
well, to keep the motivation to play/wait i guess. If you don;t believe they will fix it and within reasonable timeframe, u might as well quit today and save a ton of aggravation
The only reason most are still around is they like the game and they hope it will get playable. The longer it takes BB to make noticable progress, the harder it will be to retain these players - regardless of answering or not answering posts. The only thing that will count in the longer run (dont think there is a long run available anymore) is proof in game

When i run client it does,
When i run unity it is a gamble- Soem days it runs ok, other days it doesn't. There doesnt seem to be much logic to it but i will never have said that unity runs well. Between the first deployment and the first update on unity, the update improved performance by something like a factor 3 or 4 - from completely unplayable to "you can play but you won;t enjoy the experience"
So it is all about what you compare it with-
Bottom line: The current unity deployment is not fit for purpose and alas i fear it won;t be for a fair while seeing the issues on the table. Even when the biggest loading and performing issues are solved, there are still a ton of conversion glitches to solve but mainly the performance and (non) loading of the game needs to be solved - On top of that there seems to be the mysterious random "hammerman" bug that prevents people from logging in- which ofc is also a killer
Do i think they did a bad job: Unequivocally yes;
Should they from a gaming perspective have held back unity : Hell Yes
But we are where we are and then it is:
Do you expect flash to be reinstated: No
Do u think they will solve this quickly: no
Do u think they are trying: Yes, within the means provided by management
Basically we don;t have enough information on the decisionmaking process to guage if this was the best solution. Maybe for the team it was, probably for the company it wasn;t - Most likely the company limitations on the team made this situation and as we do not know what the laternatives are or were, makes it difficult to see if they could have done something different.
Maybe the choices available were Unity or pull plug and this is the result. The only thing to hope if that was the situation, is that they can partially or mostly solve the issues and keep the game running in a viable mode. But maybe they need to make much harder decisions than they made so far and cut out some parts of the game in order for it to run in an acceptable way with unity- call it TSO light- like TSO before all the bells and whistles and cut out the "to star interface" deactivate pvp and/or achievements - whatever to make the basic game run and then rebuild it from there. Or decide to call it a day and put everyone out of their missery

Knowing BB, they cant or dont want to isolate the playergroups involved and will just throw in something extra for all Specific compensation has only been given through support in individual basis AFAIK/can remember. All other cases of mass compensation, everyone got the same bonus regardless of having been impacted or not. I doubt they will change that but we shall see (lets first hope there is a reason to hand out compensation, in other words that things get fixed to the point where they feel it is worth handing out some compensation- The other scenario is they pull plug and no one gets compensated for anything and we all have a load of BB-rage

Best compensation for everyone would be to make game playable again . I dont think it will happen this year. Is that right traffer ?
