Is the Royal Explorer actually working correctly. In the Merchants its claimed this explorer ( not cheap at over 4k gems) finds tokens . Well so far mine hasn't turned up a single token after a week of prolonged treasure searches. Are tokens reported in the inbox with other treaures... no notifications so far.

According to his description in the merchant, he has a chance of finding tokens on adventure searches, so would not expect to find them on treasure searches.

Thanks paul Ive read that segment about the explorer umpteen times and that bit somehow bypassed me every time.....

I would expect the chance of finding is similar to the scared explorers chance of finding the big prize, i.e once a year per explorer.

Same. I thought he was broken. Glad I read this read.
I keep sending him out after adventures & he doesn't even bring thpose back as far as I can see, much less tokens.
I find the Royal Explorer returns with one token 8/10 times when sent on prolonged adventure searches, cant complain although I wonder if he is capable of finding a larger amount, perhaps he will one day reurn with 2:P

Yea so far only have come back with 1 token
Adventures working now but so far no tokens. Skilled for adventures - I've enough explorers doing other things.

I've had several tokens so far sending him on very long adventure searches twice a day.

I can confirm what Paul said.
He can only bring you tokens if you send him out on an adventure search. We will update the description in the game.
What the complaint seems to be about is not tokens. The complaint is that the explorer finds no treasure at all on prolonged searches. He's not expected to find tokens, but surely he should find something.
I've sent mine off on a prolonged to see if I have the same issue.

Has a check I wasn't typing in Martian or something. I clearly state that on PROLONGED TREASURE search it often is finding ZERO. I made no mention of tokens, or adventure searches.

I wanted to clear this up because I saw a few forum (and in-game) posts where players expect tokens from treasure searches because the in-game description is not clear enough (players who got it from the event might just have missed the shop description).

I think there is some confusion.
1 - explorer does not return with tokens on treasure searches - this is expected due to the description
2 - explorer returns nothing, no tokens or loot at all on prolonged searches - this is bugged if true since he should just act like a fast explorer, the description does not mention that *all* his loot is disabled on prolonged treasure searches.
I have not personally tried sending a royal explorer on a prolonged treasure search yet. There needs to be a bit more information though, does a mail event still occur with no loot in it or does it not trigger a mail at all? I have tried sending mine out but ill have to wait for the result to see.

They must do debate in the office there differently to most places. The initial query to which PaulG was responding was from me re the failure of the explorer to actually find anything at all on treasure searches and so your reply links back to my question.
I also find it amusing that you think Paul and I are the same person. Please provide evidence to this effect, especially as we play on different worlds anyway.
Finally, instead of treating players as [removed] any chance of an answer to the question as to why it finds zero treasure on treasure searches?

all my royal explorers returned with normal loot on prolonged treasure search

i guessed as much but who can pass up a chance of mentioning traffer in drag really
I have sent mine again on each search length for another test. I am using the old client to send the searches out and receive the mail if that makes any difference.
it shouldnt make a difference as calculations and rolls will be handled at the database level and not the player interface - but then again BB has managed to surprise us (mostly in a negative way) in the past :P

I think it is quite clear who we are responding to if we quote players in our post. Hope this clears your confusion.

I don't treat anyone as you called it, but you can't just accuse me of doing things I don't do, especially when it's public and anyone can just check it out. Feel free to complain, leave negative feedback, but please don't create a situation that didn't happen.

By this do you mean they send a screenshot of nothing? The explorer returns, giving zero loot, so a blank screenshot?

To try to resolve your misunderstanding and errors, you seem to be confusing 2 conversations here. Let me clarify:

Paul's 2nd post was nothing to do with the issue of zero treasure on TREASURE searches. hence I am still confused by the suggestion we could be the same person.
Nuff said, as it won't be fixed anyway.
