We still have to scroll the email window when collecting resources from returning Explorers, takes ages when you have just over 100 Explorers.

Some decent fixes there, especially the locked spot for gens, I suppose we will be waiting longer for the two big fixes, Zone Refresh and Selection of gens not locked to the last gen you worked with.
So lets all ask the same questions again...
Have you fixed the random general switching or not?

nothing in the fixes sorts the playability .Who cares about the bloody mail fixes they dont get ur troops or gens killed. as usual focus on the unimportant non game play stuff. sorting mails aint gonna help u speed up addies .

Now it has been proved beyond doubt that there is nothing wrong with using the old client, can this be supported until such times as the Unity game can be made playable please?

So we wait a month for much needed updates to get the game playable, and the update when it comes is mainly about `technical implementation of this year's Halloween Event' with a few `minor' updates added, non of which, on the face of it address the big issues players ( on Unity ) are having and need desperately to be sorted.
Does not look like I'll be joining the event this year, good luck all.

Some useful improvements that will help with the game play. I know we all have big issue tickets that we also want resolved, but this feels like focus is back on me as a player - these sort some of your problems out.... and if the next change log has a big ticket item fix waiting to surprise us.... well I live in hope.

This update next week - 1, event start week after - 2, three week event - 3,4,5, deactivation phase - 6
Will BB install fixes during event? Unlikely based on history apart from when fixing event specific issues.
So effectively at least 6 more weeks till next fixes?
Lots of bugs and problems to sort out, but the one issue I can't deal with is the Generals switching places.
Attack with one general and another one moves, after which the retreat flag is ghosted.
Fix this, and I can live with the rest as nothing effects game play and frustrates me more.

This is my sig and refers to when BB made changes to RB ( Years ago now, not months Lol ) to stop an advantage players found in the adventure. There was never an official conformation in a change log or update note, it was just changed and players had to find out the hard way. I keep it as my sig just to remind me how BB operate, as it had happened numerous times in the past and since. So when they spout how much the community means to them .... well let's just say actions speak louder than words ;)
Hope you improve communication speed with server. Takes hours to acknowledge a command.

The irony is, this was one of the only two balancing changes in first 4 years of the game, so even back then they clearly showed they have no intention of putting any effort into balancing anything, unless, god forbid, something benefits the players.

Most games implement changes without notifying the players up front. It is not a problem, spoon-feeding everything takes part of the fun out of gaming
Most companies also do not announce all fixes that they put in- Same reasoning and also they do not always know what might be put in or pulled at the last minute. So general information and finding out after the patch is more or less a norm in gaming

Tbh it seems as if they are encouraging us to use the hack to play on the client, and in doing so break their own T's and C's.
Looks like it gets "tolerated" by not actively investigating nad punishing players- which they said at this time is not a priority.
They will not encourage though - but we can read what we want in their actions or inactions really and second guess motives -
But actively banning people for it at this stage seems a bit counter productive and as it isnt done, there is yet hope for BB :P

funny you say that because we have a third party with no access to the games source code doing exactly that (main unity upgrade + 2 other updates) it can't be that hard to maintain the old client if someone who doesn't work for bluebyte is managing to do it.

what a load of rubbish, after update christmas market is broken, says it is working but it has not buffed anything, and the layout of my specialists looks like one is missing, but not sure which one is missing yet
also, royal explorer seems to have lost his skills, travel was 13:55 on prolonged, now it is 18:00
I have the same problem with royal explorers - had 2 now only have 1, and skills also missing
just tried to refresh trade office to see what trades are available and it crashed the game

Today I suddenly have a Mummified Geologist that I didn't have before. It's showing as being out on a very long Treasure search.
I also suddenly have a Sophisticated Geologist that I didn't have before. If I click on him, the game crashes.
I am missing General Loudmouth. However, her camp is still there, and if I hover over it, it says it's the Sophisticated Geologist. And if I click on the camp, again the game crashes.
It might be my imagination, but some marble deposits seem to be running out far sooner than they used to.
And I send out Thorough Geologists, who are supposed to take 3 times longer than others but find deposits of 3 times as much. However, they are mostly taking about 6 times longer, and return with no deposits - even though there are deposits to be found (places where a deposit had run out and I pulled down the depleted one).
Keeps telling me my storage is full - it isn't! Also lost a general - not sure which one.
I knew it'd be worse after maint XD

Mail: Reopening the mailbox after applying filters will no longer cause mails to display on top of each other.
UI: Sending a General to an adventure via the General window now requires confirmation again.

UI: Moving a General or a building no longer leaves the old location blocked.

Wow an amazing new umber of bugs introduced by this 'fix' - pls roll back or cancel the event. This is not good
Mail box now generates error messages - how can we collect loot from the adventures for the event with this broken?
Xmas Market doesn't do the buffs, despite using the resources. I use this for the event fields. Can't now.

I'm struggling to believe there is more than one part time dev working on the game.
Well, first they have to find and reproduce the bug, then figure out why...

You misunderstand. I'm not complaining that they haven't fixed the new bugs today. I'm complaining they haven't fixed the old bugs, or tested the changes sufficiently before today.
Unity introduced a large number of major new bugs. In how many months now is it? They have fixed how many? Basic things like guild chat don't work which is killing guilds. Adv are ruined by gen swaps etc
Someone hit the go button today. It isn't credible that they weren't warned by the (part time) dev that it wasn't ready. The one day delay pretty much confirms that they were told but went ahead anyway
My bet is some poor game/product manager has this in their portfolio of games and they are being beaten for underperforming income by those higher in the management chain. But heavily constrained dev time, so things go from bad to worse.

Testing ? Who is testing ? They will just make some code modifications, hoping that it will fix some of the bugs.
In the mean time, there is a good chance to create new, even worse, bugs.

hotfix has broken something, just tried to add 225 gold bar from mail to store, store has 1400 space, and it moved to star saying no space, basic maths says its broke
just tried to add from mail to star, got msg no space moved to star instead, is this the new permanent fix since it was doing that before the hotfix too
After hotfix I still can't visit other islands, I get an Out of Memory message. Also accepting mails from explorers is still not working: when adventures and buffs in the mail I get the message there is no room in my storage. The sophisticated geo is on an adventure search, as the mummi geo was this morning.

You can reduce your startup time if you configure your web server to host .unityweb files using gzip compression.

My General Loudmouth has reappeared, and the two geologists, Mummified and Sophisticated, have disappeared now.
But my Thorough Geologists are still not finding deposits, when they should - there are three iron deposits that they should have found. They have returned from the searches, but no new iron deposits are showing.
what another shambles ... everytime you do a maintenance you create even more bugs, there are enough as it is.
now ontop of the bugs already there extra ones:
cannot play adventures
cannot visit other island
wider buffs eg : christmas market, love tree, blacktree pollen dont now work
the page responsive is even WORSE than before
Are you employing 5 yr olds to do the bug fixes ?, surely you cannot be paying someone to try to fix them ?
what is even more laughable is there is a event starting on Monday that requires : playing adventures, visiting other islands.
I am guess you are hard at work with more hotfixes over the next couple of days (I wont hold my breath)
or is the plan to throw in loads of gem sales hoping people will buy the items from event .
Got to my adv once - I opened WOTS to try it out... went to it, a bit slow, but OK and back home OK, so sent some gens. Once I'd sent them I couldn't and still can't get in at all - hard crash every time.

The game is well broken, and it takes you SIX weeks to make an update and it breaks the game even more.... but wait we're in Unity where the game is going to allow easier improvements and a future for the game... remember saying that Trafffer? OK please now explain how this update and hotfix's fits that statement ....Go on I dare you! Better still get hold of BB_Saqui or anyone else with some credibility left and send them in to explain to the great community why you in BB towers continue to let them all down.

After latest game-update , I cant log-in using Old-client
I can't go to adventure island and my friend's island
Before maintanance I had started a besieged city addy. After I cant enter or invite anyone. I get this error " An error occured running the unity content on this page. See your browser javascript console for more info. The error was: internal error: too much recursion. I canceled the addy as all my gens were there. Can I please have my addy back. Browser firefox.
And everytime I try to enter the addy it freezes -
Oh and Christmas market and love tree buffs dont work - this will be a great halloween event. Epic games are having a great sale going ... lots of fun games there. But I still want my addy back.. worked hard for it.

As everyone else has said - this update sucks - back the whole mess out and go back to Tuesdays release. That was not good but it worked.
None of my area buffs work - xmas tree shows cooldown but not applied to buildings, lovetree just has a spinning cursor, zone refresh now ever minute or so, generals and explorers just going wild, cannot load an adventure, and often browser exits when I return from another island.
I would suggest you postpone the Halloween until this mess is fixed, or many of us who play other games are not coming back.

As stated in one of my previous posts: there is no limit on how bad this game can be.
Can't you just cancel the Haloween event and revert to previous stage ? On the other hand I am almost sure that anything your "devs" "develops" cannot be undone, so .....
They never test anything they are "coding". It is a pure luck if something is working. But on the other hand there are a lot of chances to become broken in the future "(hot) fixes" .
I forgot to add that they spent some valuable "coding" hours to improve gem shopping mechanism. LOL !!!!!
Thank god for that... can't wait to buy gems to use to buy adventures that I can't actually get to :P
Also need a friend buff that I can't visit anyone to actually apply...
Lucky that there isn't an imminent event needing adventures, friend visits and a friend buff... that would be insult after injury.

Instead of fixing at least anything there is a new bug which not allows me to visit friend island (some Unity Java whatever). Lol, I hope it will be the same for adventures during event. What a shame.
This game is so much fun. :)
EDIT: It actualy freezes a whole lot more then before. Like minutes at a time, going from one freeze to another.

Well BB, still can't login to the game, but thanks for saving me money on buying gems. I went to a place that wanted my money and bought Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition. It's actually fun, you should try writing a game like that ...
Night after the HOTFIX trying to move around my island i keep getting freezes and zone refreshes every single time. BB, isn't it about time you started hiring capable ppl?
Please roll back the two updates. It has made the state of the game worse and we have many in our guild who cannot log in.
They just seem to be vanished in the air ....
Conclusions are obvious:
1. They never test anything before releasing updates, fixes, etc. We're just a bunch of lab-rats for whatever they're developing.
2. Test servers and the feed-back provided on using them are just to give the impression that they are really considering them. They are not.
3. Most probably they do not keep previous versions in any way. Once an update is released, regardless how many and bad bugs it has, they are "fixing" them with hot-fixes which are most of the time useless, or fix a thing and un-fix many others.

What about all XHR Requests generating LAG and impossibility to click anywhere?
try to send explorers fast one after another, soon you will notice all the clicks you make will be ineffective, and if you keep open developer console, you'll notice while there is a XHR request (the ms from start and end of a request) you will notice that is blocking your game ui (animations, mouse clicks, ...)
This is a big issue and is still not even talked about

Geologists with the skill Lucky Find aren’t lucky any more, even though they should have a 45% chance of finding a marble deposit, witch was happening yesterday, today with 3 hours of sending of 5 jolly geo’s every 10 minutes no findings, normally 1 hour would be more than sufficient to find both marble deposits.
So something is off, are there more people who have noticed the not functioning of the Lucky Find skill?
Sent 2 iron explorers to discover iron ore. One of them didn't discovered anything, despite the fact that there were at least 6 spots to be discovered.

lost Loudmouth, my sophisticated geo is on a prolonged treasure hunt, and zone refresh is worse than ever! seems to click in every time I do anything.
cannot visit friends island and no i cant be more specific because i dont know how to open the console let alone understand what it says.
here's a suggestion... get ur dev noobs to play the game, discover the obvious issues and fix them, that is their job after all!
this was my 1st task of the day (for gq) game locked up and no i wont be logging back in

Tried reading all the feedback? That will tell you the issues. essentially we cannot play the game other than as a version of Farmville, and a poor version at that.
everything that was broke and reported is still broke. and some new stuff as well. I can still log in though. So there is that.
guess ill come back in a month or 2 and see if any progress.
BTW simply logging into the game would show you all the issues. Just copy a players island. any lvl 50 + should do.
Also if you do a google search for debugging code. Lots of items from beginners to advanced.

Can't visit friends islands - can't do adventures - love tree is broken as are other multi-buff buildings. Premium time wasting away for months now, PFB I laid before change log is a waste also.
Zone refresh is worse than ever, loading times are just stupidly long.
Can you guess what worked just fine? the gem sale, imagine that!
Done with "detailed reports" nothing changes. If BB wants us to do the devs jobs for them, then pay us the wage for doing their job. I gave the benefit of the doubt for long enough.
when attempting to go to adventure island an error occurs and the page "locks up" and the island does not load, with an error message on the screen
this has happened multiple times, even after clearing cache and cookies and logging out for 8 hours

Why is the automated happy hour script still running and basically spitting the face of the players after failed updates and numerous issues. Turn it off, tweak it or run it manually when things are actually working and playable.
- The versions that were updated to us yesterday before and after the hotfix WERE NEVER ON THE TEST SERVER, why is that?
- The version was deployed to French servers A WEEK AGO and people reported different issues FOR A WHOLE WEEK, why were they ignored?
- The older previous version that was on the test server ALREADY had some if not all of these same issues AND THEY WERE REPORTED OVER A WEEK AGO, including things like the broken love tree or the crashes when entering adventure or friend island!
Now at this point why on earth are you asking players to leave any kind of reports or feedback when it's clear that you are constantly ignoring them.

1. "If you encounter any new issues .... " That IF is fabulous. You really do not expect, but IF (very unlikely) then ......
2. "We are investigating...." Really ? why don't you investigate prior to the release ? As stated many times: lab-rats
If the big issues will not be solved until 25th (I strongly doubt), then the whole event will be a fiasco, since no-one can visit friends, nor start/continue any adventures. You'll end by prolonging the event and / or sending some cookies (i.e. some buffs and a small building)

Turns out the geologists did find iron deposits. The problem was/is that there is no sign of any new deposits - nothing at all to indicate they are there - unless you deliberately go and hover the mouse over them.
Plus it's back to taking about six clicks to actually do things. It had improved (to three clicks of the mouse), but is back to being more unresponsive.

Nice to see that we have yet another HOTFIX coming, but in the meantime we are unable to complete quests.... Love Garden, PathFinder, Weekly etc due to BB's ineptitude (is that German efficiency we have all heard about gone by the wayside). We need extensions on Weeklies and pathy or are we going to just have to chalk it up as another lost effort. Why wait to Monday for a fix, work over the weekend and deploy it ASAP because we all know thev fix will require at least 1 more fix to it before everything willk work.

why has the following not been done, reported since July ... yes July ... zone refreshed and page isnt responding which have got WORSE, why havent these been fixed ? why is there silence on these 2 issues ?
Scary thing is the hotfixes are bound to cause more bugs.
Lets hope they do sort them out for the event or it will become a absolute joke and more people will leave.

I have just been locked out of my account. It happened while swapping buffs with a player from my guild, Suddenly I get the message "Server Zone crashed" and "An error was detected on this zone. Please try again".
When I try to start the game it gives me the same message as above.
The same thing happened to another guildie - Jcooper - this morning.
Please take care of this and fix it immediately. It is unacceptable to be locked out of my account because of your technical difficulties.
Just a funny bug: Settlers look the same when they walk to the storehouse and when they walk back.
Maybe they are returning the stuff they were just delivering. Fishes, water, etc are brought back tot the houses.... ;-)

I also have these mentioned bugs: can't visit adv and friends, love tree etc not working etc.
Although these new bugs are very unfortunate especially just before an event I have to say that my map loads faster now and also sending explorers and geos is faster so something was good in the update.
So credits to the dev team for the good stuff!

Usually the "fix" is a post event mail with goodies that they think we missed out on and a cookie
When moving something from mail (e.g. found adventure and geologist findings) to home or star storage I get the message that storage is full - even for adventures!
How the f*** can star storage be full?
So put that on your list of things to ignore.

Looks like the 'update' has gone horribly wrong - I would suggest two immediate actions:-
1. A very public apology - stick it up on the front page as you would any 'update news'
2. Roll back to the build before the last update. Whilst it had flaws, they were to some extent managable. Do so immediately, not next week or next 'update' day. This would actually be a positive action as a recognition that a serious failure has occurred and a 'remedy' applied.

As above. The fact that the last two updates are by far the worst BB has ever inflicted upon those players still struggling to find some enjoyment in the game.
Why is there no post on the main screen - Game has major issues that we have been made aware of because of the last update, and we have scheduled another hotfix for Monday.
It is shit that we have to dig through forum posts to find any news. Other games are open and honest - they have top line messages up where issues have been discovered in an update and when the fix is being scheduled, so all players can see the the developers are aware of the new issue(s) and are working to fix it.
And a fix on Monday - how much time does that give us to confirm that all the broken items needed before the event are fixed and give appropriate feedback? Guess - None - so where by 12:00 on Monday then the fix is applied and the event is running we all turn around and say these are still not working, you have already let the event be triggered. When is the fix going onto the test server? Today, Tomorrow? Sunday? And how do we feedback that event still cannot go ahead if there are still show stoppers present?
With each update, new corruptions appear in the game. Instead of getting better, it gets worse. Do they want us to quit the game?
Looks like the 'update' has gone horribly wrong - I would suggest two immediate actions:-
1. A very public apology - stick it up on the front page as you would any 'update news'
2. Roll back to the build before the last update. Whilst it had flaws, they were to some extent managable. Do so immediately, not next week or next 'update' day. This would actually be a positive action as a recognition that a serious failure has occurred and a 'remedy' applied.
Lol You missed option three. Stick your fingers in your ears and go La la la la la la la very loud and carry on as before.
Now which one of the three is most likely?
Even the apologies are given are just empty words in my book , as a true apology means you have made a mistake, learnt from it and work to not repeat it .... Hmm why don't you reflect on that BB?

Another big bug (I lost the numbering): Invitations sent to adventures are not received. If reloading the game, the invitations disapear. Re-sending them has no effect whatsoever.

Having one dedicated thread for an issue where players can report it is the best way to do it, simply because anyone can see the thread and submit their report. It is also easier for me/you as I can share updates on the issue and everyone involved can see it in one place. Based on the reports, the developer team can collect data from a wider range of accounts (who reported it) and find a solution. Reporting all over the forum, in different places, doesn't help.
This is why we separate the Feedback threads from Bug Reports threads.

Nope, the best way to do it is to do what every single self respecting company out of the thousands out there does, which is employing people responsible for quality of the software before its delivered and causes an outrage.

Oh dear, this was what I was afraid of. I see we have drifted into Non answers, did you read what you actually replied to?
The point that is being raised ( yet again, and I mean over several YEARS ) Is why you have bug reports/threads for bugs/ feedback threads for both the Test server and live and yet appear to completely ignore what is being said? We don't understand how this can be happening... it simply does not make sense.
How is it possible for bugs to be found and reported by players from test to get to live? This should not happen, there are no feasible reasons for this to happen, ok maybe once or twice, but hundreds of times. Is it no wonder those players making the effort to help your developers make a bug free game are getting the impression that they are being ignored and are wasting their time.
Then when these bugs get to live you get pages of bug reports and negative feedback and you still plough on with your own agenda of game `improvements' and leave the MAJOR bugs effecting the game un-addressed. ( And no update information on those MAJOR bugs like you claim to be doing in the above statement ).
To add insult to injury it takes 6 weeks to put an update together, again with little testing and addressing concerns from the bugs then found, let alone ignoring the hope of the players that the update will progress the MAJOR problems with the game. ( Where was that sharing of update information you say you want to do ? A change log after five weeks does not count as keeping players updated) And then Bugs reported and not, were thrown once again into live and made the game worse not better, requiring hot fixes which did nothing to improve anything and continue to break even more things!!!
Let me make it simple for you. We are players, we want to play a game. You are game producers you get paid to make a game that players want to spend time with and maybe pay for that pleasure. It is not for the players to fix things you break, learn to program the game and put some bloody effort into it.:mad:

I have just been locked out of my account. It happened while swapping buffs with a player from my guild, Suddenly I get the message "Server Zone crashed" and "An error was detected on this zone. Please try again".
When I try to start the game it gives me the same message as above.
The same thing happened to another guildie - Jcooper - this morning.
Please take care of this and fix it immediately. It is unacceptable to be locked out of my account because of your technical difficulties.

On a more serious note I think we have found the reason - or at least an indicator. The guildie who buffed me when it happened the first time says it happended right when he applied soups on epics. He says it was the same thing (as in when he applied soups on epics) when JCooper was locked out.
Well, I got in again this morning and now when I myself applied soups my account jammed and I am locked out again... I also buffed with soups this morning and nothing happened then so I thought I was safe when doing it myself.
Anyway, I would have caution buffing epics.

I think u might be onto something. I was buffing epics with soup too, when this happened (altho it worked earlier in the morning). But if i remember it right, one time it happened when using stop buff on adv toolmaker. Can't remember if i used stop buff on epics too before applying soup.
If im gonna be able to log back in tomorrow, i better avoid using these buffs :P

Traffer why is it that some people can play the old client (with a work around) as it was and have no problems? and the rest of us using unity have nothing but problems with unplayable game. what happens to these players when client is shut, as we were told client was shut.
simple, people retire and game gets junked- i mean, once it gets to tumbleweed town, BB wont sink money in it anymore and that will be that.
So it is a question of will they manage to fix it enough to not get the mass exodus getting to that point in time or not. If they don't, then working client or not doesnt matter either- when servers are below a minimum lvl they will not recover- server mergers (with its own set of problems) might postpone it but i don't think they will even bother with that if they cant manage to iron out the "small" issues with unity :p

I am not able to drop water on a golem. Golem is standing but at zero, the selector to add the water does not open, rather goes straight to zero screen.

For now, please don't use Love Garden.

I am not able to drop water on a golem. Golem is standing but at zero, the selector to add the water does not open, rather goes straight to zero screen.
Once the counter reached zero you can click on the right side on the symbol of the exploding golem.
It would be helpful if the symbol would change from grayed out to clearly visible.
Clicking will finish the mission and the new mission will start a new golem.

I guess my statement was not clear, when I visit another island to drop the buffs for the quest, that is locked out if the golem is at zero.
I know how to explode my own golem. :)

And we're back to unable to visit friends islands.
Ok had enough of this zone refresh and all the issues it causes. Can someone at BB please tell us why the `Zone' has to be refreshed every twenty seconds in unity?
Further more why any development time ( and in game resources ) was allocated to having the notification text to appear on the screen to tell me that a zone refresh has occurred? Why do I need to know? The game is resource hungry, far more than it should be, so instead of adding useless notifications ( New Quest / quest failed / zone refreshed ) Take them out and reduce the load.
Today approx. 2 hrs before hot fix, I ended up with a white screen. As of this moment 12 hrs later it is still the same. Might be the clue to quit playing this game after 3,531 days.

Cooldown appears extended despite the clock saying otherwise, appears to not count one building so cooldown increases.
These buildings behave as tho there is one less, ignore the cooldown clock.

You are right! I added another Christmas market and now it works with lower cooldown. It seems SO simply reduces the number of Christmas markets and love trees.
Event venture "Monsters from the mist" disappeared with all my generals and armies.

All Geologists results for speed on a mine are the same as the taverns Geologists.
Books that make the mine twice as fast are switched of once you log out and in again.
Charming Geologists who have an always double speed for mining iron, titanium and saltpeter
are now only double slow searchers.
For normal production on the island I need the double speed copper, gold, titanium and saltpeter mines.
My diligent geologists do not find bonuses when sent out over night. I noticed this with the anniversary event as well.

"Lucky find" skill on geos doesn't work.
its unplayable again between the massive lag and the server drop outs, often get sever init fail before the buildings can load and that can take 10 mins, if i'am away from game on another screen i get server init fail, sending explorers is a night mare click wit click again takes minutes to send one.
WHEN IS THIS GOING TO BE FIXED, WHEN IS THE NEXT UPDATE, SICK OF WE ARE WORKING ON IT EXCUSE!

Loading screen gets nearly all the way across to the point the island would normally start to appear. Then goes straight to hammer man.

We got the last part of Unity Code with the last update, so the process will now be much easier for the development team.

Well BB, still can't login to the game, but thanks for saving me money on buying gems. I went to a place that wanted my money and bought Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition. It's actually fun, you should try writing a game like that ...
Enjoy, it has a great storyline and can be very relaxing. Also try The Witcher 3.
