It would be a really nice thing to have explorers grouped up on the same square, i.e. having the number of them in the corner and being able to send that entire group for the duration of the Treasure or Adventure search

It would greatly help long term players, that have upwards of 30 explorers, making it much easier

I did manage to see it do that when the game was having its little... moment, but it should be a consideration

Any additional input or thoughts on this, feel free to post/reply

Yes- this has been suggested multiple times and is on the wishlist and Bb has said it is on their radar once issues are fixed so nothing new here

1) we dont need- we want
2) it has been suggested and BB has said it is on their radar
3) Nothing is more important than fixing the game to playable unity lvl, BB has stated that already that this is their number 1 priority before looking at any game imporvements

So can they develop: Yes Will they develop : Maybe- will it be this year: if hell freezes over i guess : will it be next year: if we are very lucky :P

Hello Settlers.

This is one of the first features we would like to introduce to the game. We also mentioned this in our Unity Transition FAQ.

However, currently, technical issues take priority over everything else - as soon as this will be behind us, we look forward to delivering new content, features, and improvements.

But if the same kind of explorers are grouped in one square how would I choose different tasks for them if i wish to?

I agree we need "mass send" of some sort but I don't think one square per kind with a number is the best solution.

Re no.1, no we really do need. For players with any sort of wrist problems (rsi, carpal tunnel, arthritis etc), of which there are not an insignificant number, sending more than a few explorers manually is not an option.

that reasoning will get a "need" in many a game. The fact that there are repetitive moves in the game is part and parcel of the type of game. To remove that is a fundamental;y different ballgame as with many other games. Games tend to not be all- inclusive. You indirectly suggest that the game should be made to be all inclusive - the gameplay implications be bleeped.

That is your vision, mine still is that a game and gameplay concept doesnt mean it is for everyone and hence i still see it as a want, a much desired want, but still a want. But it hardly matters as BB has already said they are looking at some version of automating explorers- at which point most likely half the population will disagree with the solution )

it almost sounds like ur saying disabled ppl shouldn't play computer games.

I'm not gonna make a big issue out of this, but plz try and be a bit more diplomatic

send em individually like you do already and like u can do with gens.

Lol, was a long day, tbh if they allowed batch sending I would unskill them all and start again so the times were identical

I have skilled the explorers in such a way all the 1× speed, 2× speed and 4× speed will be back in 07:53:00h.
The 1× speed have to do the medium treasure search.
The 2× speed have to do the long treasure search.
The 4× speed have to do the very long treasure search.
There are left the 3× and 2,5× speed they can do the prolonged search.
Also there are the slower explorers ½ and ¼ speed I skilled them for 31:07:33 h.( 1day 7 hours 33 min)
½ speed long treasure search and ¼ speed medium treasure search.

The once for the prolonged search have “ts1” in there name.
The once for the very long search have “ts2” in there name.
The once for the long search have “ts3” in there name.
The once for the medium search have “ts4” in there name.

This means if it would be possible to send all explorers, chosen by (part of the) name, with 4 send commands all are on there way.

we have no clue what BB has in mind anyway- Well we do, nothing at the moment and "it is on the list" once unity problems are solved (which looks to be going nowhere fast if you see through the effects of the tweaks which make running unity slightly less problematic but so far by no means smoothly

maybe do a system like in the mails only for all kinds of explorers.
select either some or all - or a single kind -- than choose the duration
or select a duration and than sent all the matching exploers

Have option to set a default thing on each explorer and just send them out on default search, is some clicks with 180+ explorers during each day

We will probably get an unsorted tick list with the 100+ explorers to choose from by each search type.
Just like the unsorted general list, where it would be easier to just send all generals to the adventure with a troop-count of more then 0.
1 click no choosing just send.
Keep on dreaming.

i would hate that button as it would be close to what i would want but completely useless nonetheless.

I have generals on island that i will use in one adventure and others in another- usually a setup for the main adventures i run and then 1 or 2 setups that i use in coop adventures as a friends spot. If they are travelling to my main adventure that option all of a sudden is gone unless i clear out and reset the troops every time which is even more tedious than sending em by selecting em 1 by 1 in the interface

Just naming your specialists will place them in the default numeric/alpha order . We have always had this ability. like for the gold finding marm GF1, GF2, GF3 and such will group those together, make a outline of how you want your menu to look like when you open it and name your specialists to make it so.

the sending generals menu seems to have a will of its own and its own logic which is not influenced by names nor landing order of the troops in any logical and reproducable way

it would hav ebeen nice if the last lot of generals will be listed first in the send generals menu (even if only by type ) but it is a complete mishmash with the only logic being the normal generals and the quartermaster types being the last in the menu list
