Completed Horseback for the achievement "Bring More Guns".
Using only soldiers. Achievement has not been considered to be done.
Is it a bug with the system?

Same case with Third Thief, couldnt complete the achievement . Any help would be appreciated

There are many achievements that don't trigger. Like the ones stating: "only use/lose recruits".
When all i take to the adventure are recruits, that achievement should trigger, but it does not. (this happened on horseback and dark priests).

The only help you can get is from BB fixing those bugs.

Same for me, didnt get the "bring more Guns" on horseback, and didnt get "overkill" on witch of the swamp.

there is no eta on any fix so best to not get hopes up until they post about it in a dev diary or update notes

dont expect this to be high n the list and to be done anytime soon, there are bigger fish to fry than non gamerbeaking bugs

seems it is again reproducible, i tried 2x and never counted, used ONLY soldier for the Horseback adv (Bring more Guns achievement), used the following generals:
YGG, Older Gemini, Sylvana, Cloacked, Nutcracker, Frosty, Steadfast

:O well, I'm with opposite error. In my Ali Baba Third Thief, it shows as completed but I never done that addy...

I got answer to the ticket and the real issue why achievement not was counted was the general, the in-game description doesn't say anything about that but you cannot use first strike general (maybe neither high hitter general), example i did with only major general and achievement was ok.

Sorry but the evidence says they made up that explanation. We have had first strike generals for about a decade, the player base would know about the problem and we don't.

i restarted in last year November (after 9 years of pause from the Settlers), i remember long ago the MMA was added as first general but i do not remember when i played then the achievement gave any tribute buildings like now, so i guess that something new, which makes more sense to do the achievements, so i expected the restriction text for the achievement included the things like this :)
