I get Invalid Response Code now only with VPN on so how have BB circumvented our VPN ?

That is for our online security which is being overridden by Ubisoft and BB

And for those who cannot get Shop open, your lucky

Since maintenance prices have doubled

This is quite normal behaviour. Google does it too. You need to turn off the VPN to get to some websites.
I just don't go to them, mostly :)

Also: when using a VPN you could choose a different currency from a different country and by doing that, get cheaper gems. Can't have that, now can we :p

The issue was fixed overnight.

However, I made a purchase this morning but when the payment was processed I was told there had been an error. Moments later my bank asked me to authorise the payment, which I did. But haven't had any confirmation from Xsolla?

Have sent support a ticket but waiting for response. The whole TSO system is frankly shockingly bad right now.

Choosing a different country via VPN now gives the Invalid Response Code so that was obviously fixed under maintenance as there is no drop down menu anymore

Now they will lose money as prices (apparently) have doubled

I log in to the game via Facebook. When I click the shop I get an error message telling me I have to log in using a Ubisoft account. All new since the last maintenance as this never used to happen.

Hello again.

Unfortunately, it is no longer technically possible to make purchases via Facebook Accounts for "The Settlers Online". For privacy and security reasons, purchases can only be made through Ubisoft accounts.

If you would like to continue making purchases in our game, you will need to convert your account to a Ubisoft account.
You can find instructions here. (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/38885-Facebook-Account-transfer-to-Ubisoft)

And join those players who lost their accounts and have had to restart from the beginning as support couldn't (or wouldn't?) help them?

And join those players who lost their accounts and have had to restart from the beginning as support couldn't (or wouldn't?) help them?

Do you have any real examples which you can forward to me for review, or are you just assuming that? If so please feel free to send me a Private Message here.

Since the Legacy/Steam change, both I and the Support Team assisted many players. As long as you have all the requested details about the accounts there is no issue to recover it/merge.
