What is the frequency-percentage of royal explorer bringing tokens from adventure searches?
This reward is for all adventures (short - very long) for what type of setup in terms of books?

no reply.... No one knows how often tokens are brought for royal explorers....

Dont know about others but when 200+ explorers come home I cannot be bothered checking what each one brings, what comes comes basically

mixed reports but basically, the amount of tokens doesnt warrant worrying about the book setup very much- If you look for a general setup for the royal explorer:
3 x mountain boots
3 x fearless hiker
3 x whatever else you fancy with manuscripts

3x endless weekend
3x sturdy shovel
3 x pathfinder
3 x trouble shooter if you want more maps/mapfragements

This setup will max returns for adventures so tokens and give the expolorer the optimal setup to do treasure searches in events
