Balanced Geologist

Hi guys!
I have a question about the balanced geologist we got from the anniversary event.
According the wiki it should refill a mine with 200 hundred. For example if you find a stone mine it refills a copper mine with 200.
Well i had 1 mine for all the types. Then with balanced i searched for a lot of different mines. Never refilled anything.
So what is the situation with it?

With Bb we never know- i havent paid attention to the geologist so i wouldnt know

It is Bb and we all know them, if the geologist states it will refill... then usually that means it will refill a mine to the max of it's original limit. The next question is ... which one do they take, the base max or the modified max of the search ...


So question to you: are you sure all mines/quarries had "space" to be refilled?" else it could be you never see a refill

Next problem: Wiki works of data from test- sometimes that breaks on live and it might take months for that to be fixed - or worse: they changed it between test and goin live and then it takes ages for WIki to find out/adjust this

The main point here is: With a successfull search, it fills up a mine with 200.
This means: If you send 200 searches, but they are not successful, you do not fill up any mine at all.
Example:
Refills a random copper ore deposit with 200 copper ore after a successful search for a stone deposit.

So what i tried. I had 5 copper deposit, mines built. Then found 6 stone deposit. Nothing happened.

But all I have been apple to find about Balanced Geo's perfermance is:
Finds deposits in half the time and refills another kind of deposit.

That doesn't say anything about what amount he adds or to which deposit. So it is a bit difficult to find out what searches I like to use him fore :-)

In wiki the following is stated:

Is that correct?

Edit:
I have run 3 stone search (finding stones), it added 0 copper ore to mines/depo - 2 depo where under 100 before search, so not because of max limit.

So what does balanced geo actual do BB? when what you write here in forum doesn't correspond with my result of the search, I begin to wounder...
Does he work?
Is the refill totally random, and what is the amount of refills we get from a search?

It truely would be nice to know.

Wiki is player made so it is correct to a point. Also, most of the data is gleaned from test server- What is correct on test is not always correct on live servers- either intentionally or unintentionally (bug)

Only way to find out is to have enough people report their findings and then have one of the wiki people or someone else number crunch the whole lot

So wiki is mostly accurate but don;t expect it to be a sanctioned version of the TSO workings, it is all based on player observations

I've been sending him on granite searches and mine has been adding 200 to random titanium deposits, it does not matter if you have built a mine on the deposit or not.

So I guess it has a chance to work. With titan and granite it works for me 100%.

With stone and copper i think 5-10% or lower. 18 stone search 0 refill on coppers.

Hey guys! I still think that this geologist is bugged. It can add the extra to stone, marble and granite (those are different working mines) not working for others.
