Hello,
my Ubisoft account was hacked. I have technical problem with getting back my UBI acc and technical support is bad. TSO login is tied to a Ubisoft account. I'm lucky so for now I'm logging into the game via the Ubisoft linked accounts. Will I soon be able to separate my game account (and get my original account email back) from my Ubisoft account (it used to be unlinked to Ubisoft) so I don't lose it. I've been playing TSO for over 10 years.
I would like CIPSOFT to consider me for account rescue.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.

Yes a tricky one, more people have the same issue and due to the game having been taken over - no one seems to care to solve it or keeps pointing fingers at the other party to solve it- Our guildleader islocked out for like 2 months already and BB points to cipsoft- cipsoft points to bb/ubi and the player is stuck in the middle.

Seems the problem is with Ubisoft and its protection system - which locks accounts in risk of a hack/having been hacked (so usually the latter one due to databreach) and somehow the rescue e-mail adress not working

So the player can not log in, as he gets promted to get a password reset- which tells him to click on the link sent in the mail- BUT... no mail ever arrives (even though the right e-mail is active and accessible to the player - usually the e0mail used as log in as well)

The solution seems fairly easy but no one takes responsibility to do this - which is to ensure that the original e-mail is used again to unlock the account by a reset or send a password reset to the player on the e-mail they are communicating with Ubissoft with - or just reset the account and mail a new password to the player so they can then reset the passowrd and/or e-mail themselves.

This pointing fingers and saying (from cipsoft: once it is merged into our systems, we can solve it- but hey- that might take a year...) is a surefire way for people to lose confidence and walk away

so it isnt the standard protocol- but it doesnt work and it isnt the players fault either so just fix it
