Dear Settlers,
you're welcome to use this thread to give us feedback about the Anniversary Event 2025. :)
Information about what's new and what has changed can be found here (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/39821-Anniversary-Event-2025-What-s-new-What-has-changed).
Replies:
August 7: smuggler has 1000 units, colossus not moveable, community goals (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/39820-Feedback-Anniversary-Event-2025?p=376473&viewfull=1#post376473), bonus (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/39820-Feedback-Anniversary-Event-2025?p=376475&viewfull=1#post376475)
August 11: donation phase 2 (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/39820-Feedback-Anniversary-Event-2025?p=376488&viewfull=1#post376488)
August 25: graphics offset during construction (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/39820-Feedback-Anniversary-Event-2025?p=376522&viewfull=1#post376522)
Bad moves
These were useful items, but have been removed from merch and still added back:
Royal Explorer - 4499 gems (max. 4) - no option to buy
Celebrative Lookout - 3299 gems (max. 2) - no option to buy, 1 from event calendar for free
Wondrous Celebration Residence 9999 gems (max 5) - it's in a ridiculously expensive bundle
Yet again, another event where the new items are not tradable
The Misty Cake-Adventure has been removed again because of the bug, instead of fixing it.
Good moves
Great to see that some old standalone items are still available to the merch! Rina Explorer, Bold Explorer, Emphatic Explorer, Gen. Tremble Beard, Diligent Geologist, Sickbay, Old-School Barracks
The Smuggler gen and his ability look funny
The rewards are very nice this year (both calendar and event tasks)
Conclusion
The new building, Boat Residence, is pricy (650 gems) compared to its max. 180 pop limit. It should be at least 350.
The new Elder Tree Lighthouse is a new, pricy (6000 gems), but useless building from my POV.
The new Mountain Clan Colossus looks cool, but it still takes too much space (3x3), and its upgrade time (41.5 days) is huge. Overall, I'm not sure if it's worth it... but at least it's "free" as a Community-Goal.
Personally, I would like to see 4 tweaks and a fix in this merch:
Add back the Celebrative Lookout
Add back the Royal Explorer
Add back the Wondrous Celebration Residence
Fix the Misty Cake buying bug
Make some new items tradable

This is a pleasant surprise,
Changes compared to test server
The size of the Mountain Clan Colossus was lowered from 4x4 to 3x3.
The price of the Party Hard Chest was reduced from 23,999 Gems to 22,399 Gems.
The Boat Residence increases the population limit by 60 - 120 - 180 instead of 40 - 90 - 150.
The Elder Tree Lighthouse increases the population limit by 80 instead of 40. Additionally, the fire in the fire basin was added.
The Scouting Post is available 1x for 5499 Gems instead of 1x for 7950 Gems.
The Misty Cake-Adventure had to be removed from the merchant. Unfortunately, the issue that already occurred last year could not be resolved in time.
The names of the bundles were changed.
Thank you for listening to feedback from the test server. We are not used feedback being heard, much less actions taken due to the feedback.
The "Easter Eggs" are a nice touch :)
The graphics are nice on the Boat Residence, the changed population increase the value. The revised population is appropriate for the boat.
The smuggler is a nice addition, although the description does not include how many troops he carries. Is this information available?
Mountain Clan Colossus, I like the appearance of the building but he is large. Is the building movable and/or does it return to the star menu if destroyed?
The Elder Tree Lighthouse will most likely be a decoration/small pop building. The cost to run the fairy fire is steep to find collectables (100 Oil and 30,000 Pinewood) compared to the fairy dust which shuffles the collectible that can be produced for 200 fish and 100 bread. The dust can be made ahead and used more than once vs the fairy fire which will have a 3 day cooldown.
I am looking forward to the event. Has the community goals been revised this year? Historically it has been a challenge to meet the goals.

The smuggler has 1000 units.
The colossus is not movable since it's a special storehouse. It's recurring.
The community goals haven't been revised this year. Such a step would a required a thorough analysis in advance which was not possible in the time available.

Thank you for the updates. As I reread the diary, I have a few more questions.
Is there any more information on what weapons and/or how much gold the smuggler can hide in his coat pockets?
The Smuggler: Description: Brings coffers with weapons or gold after completing a trip.
Is the "REMINDER: During the 14th Anniversary of "The Settlers Online" a seasonal Event Bonus with 2x XP and 3x loot will be active" still going to be active for the 15th anniversary also? I know to never assume. :S

Yes, I've added the information to the post (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/39821-Anniversary-Event-2025-What-s-new-What-has-changed?p=376468&viewfull=1#post376468). :)

I'll enquire about this. Short update on Aug 11: According to the info I have received, the bonus should be active.
great to see a new building why dont you implement a send all option for explorers as promised by BB ?

i join to the others,
Party Hard Bag - it is good bundle for the price, it is worth compared what is contains
Party Hard Box - it think not really worth to buy (not enough value compared with the content)
Party Hard Chest - i think overpriced but maybe only a bit (compared to box and the price, it is a better deal)
Mountain Clan Colossus - the new building design is ok BUT
- upgrade time is ridiculous long, last upgrades 15 days overall very very long, normal storehouse/improved etc storehouse takes 2.5minutes to first upgrade and last levels takes 7 days, this one 12h then later 15h
- size, compared with the more storage the building size is too big
Overall: Not worth at all, even if i get, make no sense to use/place it :(
- gold gathering option is interesting but compared with the size (can build in that spot 9 storage tower way faster and more benefit, not even think about benefit of the traveling time, small storehouse always better travel time), price, upgrade time and the extra storage make a useless option, i would not increase the building time for the buildings for sure because anyway no one will pay 119k GEM for 1 single upgrade just make the players disappointed :/
https://settlersonlinewiki.eu/en/buildings/special/improved-warehouse/
Fix:
- if u normalize the upgrade time (make similar as the improved storehouse)
- size to 3x2 or 2x2 (if 2x2 then the current gold ore production is ok)
- AND 1 from the followings: increase the gathered ore (like 1 gold ore/ hour per level) or replace it to produce 3 granite per level in every 3 hour or just increase the storage space to double instead of the gold ore production
Elder Tree Lighthouse - not bad (design and what it gives), only would be better if it is consume instead of oil better the 100 gunpowder or 200 gold ore or 200 gold bar or 100 coin or 100 map fragment (and that pinewood) something less rare and if someone have more from this building then reduce the cooldown (until max 10 building, with 10 buildings it should be ~10h cooldown)
Smuggler bonus is nice addition, same as the Brohmann passive coffer ability
Explorers are nice, maybe they should have high purchase limit
Boat Residence - i love it, i think it is too cheap (the gem price could be maybe at least 1k and with 5 limit), great idea because need normal rss to upgrade, pretty good population increase amount, best thing in the anniversary shop after the explorers
Retro maps - i love the retro settlers 2 event adventure maps with their retro music :)
Extra buildings - I would add for fun the old settlers buildings as well into the shop, for nostalgic reasons with 1 limit for 1-3k gems https://settlersonlinewiki.eu/en/buildings/other/settlers-headquarters/
Future building ideas - I would also check the other old settlers buildings like from settlers 2, settlers 2 10 anniversary, settlers 3 (amazone extension), settlers 4 buildings, settlers new allies (just for the design with different role/produced product, it makes more authentic and nostalgic but this is for the future) at least for the anniversaries or for xmass
That Mountain Clan Colossus can be buffed to increase the gold ore, including with the love tree and likely with other buff buildings.

That Mountain Clan Colossus can be buffed to increase the gold ore, including with the love tree and likely with other buff buildings.
yeah, but it is a bit building with 1h production time and 119k gem per level upgrade or 15 days until u can get a free (just simple doing SCS i got so much from it)
- Industrial Gold Mine which built in few minutes and produce 7 gold in 6min production (with PFB and +200 Mine Fevor buff and produce 406 gold ore per hours and hourly 67.(6) gold and takes ~NO space, it requires deposit (except if someone want endless gold mine) but for me the refilling for 1 minute not an issue and make coin produciton economy at moment make no sense in this game when a PFB buff cost is over 1 million coins
Other hand there is building has good storage space (but also use more space on the island where u can build more storehouses) and produce hourly 7 gold ore (with pfb + mine fevor = 42 gold ore per hour) on max level (only after ~42 days building time). Buffing a building with slow production time to get less valuable product (gold ore) maybe worst then directly selling the buff or just use the buff on other buildings with ~10x lower production time.
If i would buff something with love tree than that would be something which produce something more valuable and more frequently so the buff effect used more efficiently (so not in 6 production cycle but in 20-30 or 50 production cycles)...
Well, you can use it then, for me not really worth the effort around the building (disadvantages: size, time, production
if it would be smaller (or produce something what worth), normal upgrade time then i would not complain about it at all, it would be a nice and unique reward building, but you can use it, as you want, just my opinion is not worth to get it, and since it is a big reward of the events i think it would be more attractive to the players :)
The colossus isnt bad-
If you used the same space to fill storage towers you could bump it up to a max of 162k storage versus the 140k for colossus - which is max versus max
Another new building and with a bit of a history + a bit of extra gold isnt bad- it doesnt have to be vbetter than the optimal solution out there and it gets close enough
the 3x 3 limits its location but i will go find a slot for it somewhere (and total upgrading cost to lvl 7 is a lot lower than upgrading 9 storage towers)

I agree it isn't a great building I was just pointing out it can be buffed. I will probably use it at first level just for 20k extra storage space because with a new island it is relatively empty anyway but will tear down once I get something better.

let's talk about the storage 9*28k from storage tower is 252k(not 162k) vs colossus is 160k, so colosus have less storage than 6 storage tower
- 4 dark roof tower also have 160k space, that true it is 4x4 space the 4 building, but NO upgrade, no waiting time and resources for upgrade + way easier to get, not an event final reward....
that is really weird logic, indifferent how many building you upgrade since it can be done in parallel and it IS WAY LESS time to upgrade 9 tower, do not even talk about traveling time when u have magnificient buildings where production time is 1 minute (brewery) or half minute for watermill or endless coal mine with 20sec production time, the storage tower have incomparable bigger advantage, even the endless copper mine...
- more smaller storehouses >> bigger storehouse with the same capacity, if we think to the production or we can place there where the other bigger building cannot.
main advantage of the 9 tower is you can place anywhere and drastically speed up the production, not just faster upgrade (do you know anyone who upgrade the buildings 1 by 1? upgrading 9 building is same than 1, around 2 and half day)...
For beginners it is good temporary but make no sense to use later game or veterans (a contra example is the ice skate lake, which big but give more rewards) and let's not forget this is a final rewards...
https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7691&d=1754671447
or example Magnificent Brewery where the prod time is 1 minute + 4x travel time with 9 tower u can make 18 magnificient brewery with minimal travel time, so 2x6sec, so best time is 1min 24sec
Let's do a simple calc with Mag. Brewery, if the travel time is 24 [=4x6] sec then it will endup 1 min + 24*4 = 2 min 36 sec which nearly 2x slower production time then lets add tree of love with 10x buff and let's calculate how many production cycle is in 6 hours...
Difference even bigger when we talk about the buildings with 20-30sec production time like endless coal, magnificient watermill etc where the travel time can be even more than the production time which mean you will need ~2x more buildings if the travel time is longer to have the same production amount...
Then there is the gold ore production, which maybe if lower make sense or it produce more but too much the difference between normal gold mine, that is ok if slower (let's say 3x slower than the mine) but 9x slower than the normal mine/endless gold mine/industrial mine is too big difference... .
so not just building time and storage space is the difference :)
not every new building has to be a whopping improvement over other options
i like the idea, and i will place it. And yes 9 towers are superior but both harder to get and a lot more expensive
i do hope the graphics do it justice
(compare colossus to the vulcano forge- it is hard to upgrade, expensive to run - mainly because not all modifiers work on it compared to traditional buildings and lesser buffs available for it) Stil most wanted it and worked hard to unlock it when it came out- just for the looks )

i do not use the vulcano/epic forge, but there is no option to remove it or free up/eliberate that big space which it use but sadly it is a constant/unremovable building, other hand can be useful when it has full potential (all production run on max potential, also it has no travel time) and all 3 slot works, less easy than the normal buildings so that true but now there is enough potential buff for the workyards :)
(about harder to get things, this i think a maybe yearly building and untradeable if i am not wrong, so i am not sure about this because you cannot get via trade office even if u have resource to buy).
I like the idea (combined storage & production) as well, if they improve it a bit (if halve the gold ore prod time or at least normal upgrade time + make it 3x2 instead of 3x3, then it would be enough good for an anniversary final reward.
What happens during each phase - someone said we have 17 days for the festival hall to produce not the 14 days I originally thought. I can't seem to find details of what the removal phase does, i.e. what changes on August 25th?
Event Start: August 11, 10:00 CEST
Donation Phase 1: August 11, 10:00 CEST - August 18, 10:00 CEST
Donation Phase 2: August 18, 10:01 CEST- August 25, 10:00 CEST
Start of removal phase: August 25, 10:00 CEST
Complete deactivation: August 28, 10:00 CEST
In previous events the removal phase is just there to do your final buying in the shop and collect the community reward - As it is only a quest reward to collect as the main action possible, the removal phase is 3 days instead of the usual 7 days

Well... the event has started, but the merch has "bugs" as "usual". Some items are locked for me, so I cannot buy those:
Emphatic Explorer
Party Hard Chest bundle
Balanced Geo
Advanced Toolmaker Tribute
Improved Bronze Weaponsmith
The community goal of 150000000 is probably a joke in 7 days, with the game being run like this, most of the players are no longer playing and there are very few new players and getting a cake is bordering on a miracle, so far it's been one big failure

Sandycov have around 10m from 150m, after 26h, 5d 22h left, i am curios what will happens
[EDIT] 4 days left and 73m/150m, so the progress is pretty ok

yes it is, the target was way too low seeing we already there with the whole weekend ahead of us-
It will mean that the target for phase 2 will most likely be around the 450.000.000 to 475.000.000 mark as they will calculate the balloons we make in the paused period into the total as well

@Miranda
I love quest chains, the old retro scenario maps, if possible make some maybe some retro settler2 venture, classic or mini mission maps too where we should attack old s2 themed (roman, nubian, viking or asian) barracks/guardhouse/watchtower/fortress what we can attack (https://settlers2.net/guides/guide-to-buildings/).
also would love some buildings from the old version and more permanent s2 buildings skins.
Is the texture on the Mountain Colossus applied correctly? It doesn’t look quite right when it appears above buildings—it feels like it’s shifted about 1x3 to the left and 3x1 upwards [1x3 = width × height in squares].

Missing Removal Phase of Anniversary Event
Dear Settlers,
After the Anniversary Event ended at 10:00 CEST today, the removal phase did not start as expected, which means that no rewards can currently be obtained. This is unintended, and we are already looking into the issue.
Thank you for your patience!
Your CipSoft Team
Will you bring back the anniversary merchant when you resolve the issue, even if it's after the planned deadline for phase 2? I was away for a lot of the event so was trying to catch up on the quests when I returned and was planning to use phase 2 to consider what to buy from the merchant. It's really annoying that this was the one decent anniversary merchant we've had and now I can't buy anything!
