strategy to attack dogs

What's the best strategy to clear camps with dogs?

on main island - 200 recruits, then compose your army according to whatevers left to kill.

just recruits? are no other types of any use?

considering the fact that most camps with dogs wont fall under one attack, there really is no point sacrificing any more valuable units.

ive been finding it very useful

I am currently struggling with dogs it has cost me nearly 400 troups and there are still 30 dogs left

That's proberly because you sent archers, instaid of recruits.
