Where is the wood?

So I have these 2 Fir wood cutters right behind a nice forest (on the border between the middle sector and the bottom middle)
and there's like 12 or more trees but they don't want to cut them...

I have a very nice picture of it, but I don't know how to post it.

So my question is: Do they need an exit for their workplace or is it a bug?

You'll have to understand that trees are just for appearance. A tree stands for a deposit of pine wood or hard wood therefore it can be cut down many times to produce lots of wood logs depending on how many wood logs are on that deposit. So to answer your question: no, they don't.

So they should be able to harvest these trees?
It are pine trees and the resource view (if I have the wood cutters selected) says they still contain logs.
Login in again doesn't solve the problem.

What should I do know?

The best way to know if the work yard is working or not is by looking at its status. You can check its status by clicking on a work yard if the status is working then it's fine, you don't have to worry about it.
