I must be a fool to report this because it saves me loads of gems ;) Maybe it's even good behaviour...
When a mine is exhausted the player can delete the "mine". I mean the mine not the mason! After I tell my Geologist to discover stone, he finds the stone vein that was exhausted minutes ago. No need to refill the mine, just let it run dry and rediscover it ;)
I didn't had time to test this for copper, marble, iron etc...
Loev works the same for all those resources.
the gem items are believed to be only realy worth it when used for goldmines, but thats up for debate.
So it is not a bug? I wish I had known this earlier, spend all my precious gems on restocking my mines.Quote:

Of course That plan only works if your forever playing the game and are there to re-find the mine as soon as it's exhausted.. for us mere mortals that perhaps get to play once or twice a week the Gem's option can be a lifesaver, as it takes time to build mines, and valuable resources that of course need to be used for other things as well as building the same mine back up again.
