I want to build a nice straight road and a tree stump is blocking the way.
I think it'd be cool to designate areas where tree's could be planted (Like wheat fields) so you wouldnt run out. you'd plant/ designate corpse areas for tree's and 'natural' trees cleared out so you can plan huge citys.
Also could you think of a way to fill in and dig out lakes/ seas. You could create a river through your city and create a New York style metropolis

I'm more interested in the building of towns than the battles (other than to gain more land of course) and I also like my buildings orgainised. I think the ability to clear stumps is a must. I'm going to find stumps sticking up everywhere will be frustrating to the point of me losing interest in the game.
Land fills and rivers are great ideas too and extending your coast lines whether for a bigger land mass or to join other continents would make the game really intriguing too.
You're doing a great job so far. Keep it up and good luck!
