Lots of discussion in chat recently about upgrading buildings. Seems a lot of people have noticed that the buildings stop producing while they're upgrading. No one seems to know wether this should be happening or should the buildings carry on producing? It's not so bad until you get to a week long upgrtade then you have a level 4 building not producing for a week.
Anyone actually know (BB?) whether buildings should carry on or not?

Yes, while you upgrade your building, you will not be producing with that building. This is not a bug as we want players to think about what they are doing: is the extra production really worth it or not?

Barracks and provision house does produce military/buffs when they are being upgraded. All the other buildings stops production
7 days of waiting is killing me. (When upgrading to lvl 5)
