Adventures quest
My daily quest requires that I "experience at least one new adventure(s)".
Can anyone tell me whether I need to go on a completely new adventure, i.e. one which I've never played before, to pass this quest? It seems to be saying that, but so many of the daily quests are worded strangely that it's hard to be sure.
I'm hoping not, because my explorers aren't terribly good at finding adventures. I have a horrible suspicion that they actually spend most of their time tearing up maps in the local library.

hmm - your explorers seem related to mine...
In answer to your question - you just need to start an adv and finish it, it does not have to be one that you've not played before

Thanks MOD_Blue, that's definitely the answer I was hoping for.

Once an adventure is started, how long do you have to complete it?
I started Pirate Island on Friday afternoon and I've been progressively working on the adventure since. Yesterday, I sent one of my Generals back to my main island so that I could start to replenish my troops. Logged on today and received a message that my general had failed and the quest was aborted. What did I do wrong? As far as I was concerned, this adventure was 'work in progress' and I did not realise I had a deadline in which to complete it.
I've started the 'Stealing from the Rich' adventure which,on first glance, looks as if it will take a few days to complete. I hope this one doesn't abruptly end.

All adventures have a time limit as stated on the opening screen of each adventure and the clock ticking down under the adventure once you accept it.
