Cancelling a mine

Hi all,

I don't know, is this a bug or a feature?

I discovered a deposit (iron in sector 3 to be exact), placed a mine on top of that deposit but due to lack of tools I cancelled it before it began building. Now the deposit is gone! Now, for copper it might not be a problem as rediscovery is quick but for iron and coal this can mean quite a lag... resulting in the production chain disruption. Plus, in theory if I discovered a deposit, I know where the resources are :) Even if I don't want to build on that spot now, IMHO the discovered spot should remain regardless.

it is not a bug. what you have done is delete the mine (you cant delete something that is not there yet). you should have waited for the tools, it dosent do any harm.

I know, thought the deposit would remain regardless... oh well, I'll be smarter next time :)
