All About Copper Mine:

Hello Guys,
i gona try to explain how to get a most value, and fastest Production Time, for your Copper Mines, Bronze Smelters, and Buildings that Use Bronze.
first of all, you have to decide what you looking for: Cheapest way to Produce, or Fastest way to Produce.
in this Guide im looking for best Value and Production relation. Including Human factors, aswell as that we all have to sleep, and do not play 24/day.

Copper Mine:
Building Cost: 30 Stone 45 Pinewood Planks.
Building Time: 3 Mins
Geologist Search Time: 10 Mins
Spots on the Map: 6

Upgrade Cost: LvL2 = 50 Tools; LvL3 = 150 Tools; LvL4=300 Tools; LvL5=500 Tools.
Upgrage Times: LvL2 = 2.5 mins; LvL3 = 5 mins; LvL4=7.5mins; LvL5=10 mins.



Placement:

First of all is Important to place your Storehouse in a Spot where all your Copper mines have like the best Time possible, however you dont wanna place a Storehouse per each mine individually, because it is a waiste of licenses.

Second, you want to use your Storehouse for other Buildings too, so here is and Example for really efficient Placement of your Storehouse in relation to Mines, AND other Buildings.(in Spot 1 is a better spot to upper Left, from Storehouse, at the spot where i have a toolmaker, however you cant place much more building with good Prod Times around it.)

if you use a Placement like in Picture 1 and 2 you gona get an average Production Time of 3.28 (3.44 + 3.36 + 3.32 + 3.32 + 3.12 + 3.12)/6

if you try to get a best possible time. you can Place a Storage like in Picture 2 an 3.

it would make an average Production time of 3.19(3.24 + 3.16 + 3.20 + 3.32 + 3.12 + 3.12)/6 That like the best you can get.
its up to you, i actually trying it out, and possibly gona stay by this placement.


Upgrade:
(ALL my math use a avg Prod time of 3.28, you can do it for yourself with some other Prod time if you want, for example with 3.19)

With LvL 1 Mine and an avg Prod Time you need 38.27 Hours to deplete this mine (60mins/3.28=18.29*1=18.29; 700/18.29=38.27h) with 6 active Mines you gona produce only 4200 per 38.27h or 2634 Copper ore per Day.

LvL 2 Upgrade cost only 50 Tools, and its really like a nobrainer. You need 19.13 Hours to deplete it. ( (60mins/3.28=18.29*2=36.58; 700/36.58=19.13h) with 6 active Mines you gona produce 4200 per 19.13h or 5269 Copper ore per Day.

LvL 3 Upgrade cost 150 Tools, i always do this one too, reasons for it you will find below. You need 12.75 Hours to deplete this one (60mins/3.28=18.29*3=54.87; 700/54.87=12.75h) with 6 active Mines you gona produce 7905 per Day.

LvL 4 Upgrade cost 300 Tools, i never do this one, and will never do this, reasons for it you will find below. You need 9.56 Hours to deplete this one(60mins/3.28=18.29*4=73.16; 700/73.16=9.56) with 6 active Mines you gona produce 10543 per Day.

LvL 5 Upgrade cost 500 Tools, i never do this one too. You need 7.65 Hours to deplete this one (60mins/3.28=18.29*5=91.45; 700/91.45=7.65h) with 6 active Mines you gona produce 13176 per Day.

however you shouldn't forget that you need to refind and rebuild them much more often, if you upgrade them higher. so you probably never gona get this Productions per Day.


Refind & Rebuild:

This is one of the main reasons why i dont go for LvL 4 Copper mine, for sure this 300 Tools, a major reason too. but the most important thing on this, is how you manage your own Human time, to get a high value of prod without be active all the time or at night.

with LvL 4 copper that need like 10h to deplete, you only can send your Geologist 2 times a day while you online/awake . if you online a normal 14-17 h day. however your second one gona run emty right in the middle of the night, each time. you cant manage this one without beeing awake 20h+ per day.

with LvL 3 copper you gona do the same. with 12.75 H of running, you gona be at the same 2 Times a day, as with lvl 4. with Lower uptime while you sleep. so you gona get the almoust the same amount of Copper ore, without spend 3600 Tools.

At this Point i would say, the best Value and Prod relation you will get with lvl 3 Copper Mine.

Buffing:

So now we can look at the Question "should i buff?" or why to buff or not to buff

To make this Part a little shorter i only Look at lvl3 and lvl2 Coppermines, because they are the only one that really make sense.

LvL 2 Coppermine is up for amount of 19.13h that makes her really good for Buff with 2 Baskets from Friends(18h) or 3 own with a little delay between buffing and build/upgrade this is like the best way to run it.

LvL 3 Coppermine is up for 12.75h and this allow you to use 2 own Baskets( i actually really like it, because its always a search for buff partner, and this can be annoying.) or you use 1 basket and 1 sandwich from your friends.

the amount of extraore you get from lvl 2 or lvl 3 its about the same. only the amount of baskets you use, is different, and the times you need for same value of ore.

However you have to decide first, do you need to buff in first place, or do you not.

there is couple of Options you have:

LvL 2 without Buff: 4200 Ore per day (1x Geologist search. 19h running, goes empty at night, refind next mourning)
LvL 2 + Buff: 8151 Ore per day(1x Geologist search. 19h running 2x Buffing from friend = 12 basket swaps, refind next mourning) (18h*60 mins = 1080 mins/3.28*2 = 658.5*6=3951+ 700*6=8151)
LvL 3 without Buff: 8400 Ore per day(2x Geologist search. 12.75h running, Refind next 12.75h running, refind next mourning)
LvL 3 + Buff: 16302 Ore per day(2x Geologist search 12.75h running.2x Selfbuffing. Refind next 12.75 h running,2x selfbuffing. refind next mourning) (12h*60mins=720/3.28*3=658.5*6=3951+ 4200= 8151)
HOWEVER in reality you not gona Buff your night copper mine for a second time.

whats real is.

LvL 3 + Buff: 15314 Ore per day(2x Geologist search 12.75h running.2x Selfbuffing. Refind next 12.75 h running,1x Basket swap, refind next mourning) (12h*60mins=720/3.28*3=658.5*6=3951+ 4200= 8151) and (9h*60mins=540/3.28*3=493.9*6=2963.4+ 4200= 7163.4)

or if you like to swap baskets and safe 6 additional you can go for

LvL 3 + Buff: 14326.8 Ore per day(2x Geologist search 12.75h running.1x Basket swap. Refind next 12.75 h running,1x Basket swap, refind next mourning) (9h*60mins=540/3.28*3=493.9*6=2963.4+ 4200= 7163.4) and (9h*60mins=540/3.28*3=493.9*6=2963.4+ 4200= 7163.4)

however the best way to make a right decision is to look at your Bronze production/consume.


Bronze Production:

(all my math i did with an avg Prod Time of 6.40 on coppersmelters.)

Depending on Setup of Ore Production you can count for a best way to produce Bronze, with minimium count on Coppersmelters, and minimum uptime. We want to limit overproduction as good as we can, aswell.

In theory each Copper Mine produce enough copper for 2 smelters of the same LvL.

in reality Travel Times and Times while you refind & rebuild your mines are the reasons why you dont need, this theoretical perfect count of Coppersmelters.

after an straigt 2 to 1 relation, i should have 24 lvl 3 coppersmelter for Coppermine LvL 3 with Buff.

however, i take my Day prod amount of copperore and look at how many Coppersmelters of With lvl do i need.

to Spare the most math i would give you a Formula how to count it for your daylie consume.

we use 24h day thats 1440 minits for LvL 2 Mines and 26h day thats 1560 minits for lvl 3 Mines.

Now we have to know how many Ore we should use per amount of an Hour.

so we divide our Copper Ore value throug 24h or 26h.

example 15314/26 = 589 copper ore per Hour. now we divide 1hour through our avg Prod Time on smelters 60/6.40 = 9.375 that is amount of trips all our smelters do in 1 hour. now we divide 589 throug 9.375 = 62.8 thats an amount of copper you have to use per 6.40 mins with ALL your coppersmelters. E
Each lvl of smelter is a 1 so you have to have enough smelters to get to 63. thats 21 lvl 3 smelters or 15 lvl 4 smelters and 1 lvl 3 smelter. or 12 lvl 5 smelter and 1 lvl 3 smelter.

once again in Short: (Copper value per day/Hours per day)/(60mins/avg Prod time of a smelter)= how many lvls we need on coppersmelters.

you can use the same pattern for your Toolmaker/bronzesword just put Bronze value per day instead of copper value per day. and here you go.

Perfection nothing less:

I use my personal setup of Mines + Buffing and Coppersmelters to maximize production from each one of them my Coppermines run with 3.193( i use 3.20 for my math)

so its

LvL 3 + Buff: 15487.5 Ore per day(2x Geologist search 12.75h running.2x Selfbuffing. Refind next 12.75 h running,1x Basket swap, refind next mourning) (12h*60mins=720/3.20*3=675*6=4050+ 4200= 8250) and (9h*60mins=540/3.20*3=506.25*6=3037.5+ 4200= 7237.5)

only 170 ore more per day. so its not really nessecary. and you can use 3.28 setup aswell.


so my thought on that was, ok if you have a chain with 3.20 x6 you can easy go for 6.40 x 12 so its even. i buff my copper mines so i need 24 x 12. to keep up.

and that what i actually do, i use those real good spots with 12 sec traveltime and so on for other struktures and put my coppersmelter on 6.40 spot or one at 6.32 and other at 6.48. so its all even.

for the upper 2 that has an time of 6.32 i placed 2 other smelters with 6.48 to make it all even.

i use this 21lvl 3 smelters setup right now and produce an sick production fo 15400+ bronze a day.
