There is no best. Each units has its own use depending on the battle it's involved in.
Read through to the various combat guides for information on each battle
In general; use cavalry to kill archers, archers to kill melee, and melee to kill dogs. Never use cavalry if the enemy also has cavalry/dogs. But there is nothing that is always the best. You should calculate each battle separately with one of the combat calculator's.Quote:
