Excel tool for block-time calculation 2.0
You need a Microsoft Excel Version (1997 and higher - 64 bit isn't supported, yet)
Version 2.0 is based on game design. Inside the tool, there are helpful tooltips and help buttons, which will show you a detailed post in this thread. If you have still questions, you can ask in this thread or write to me.
With this tool, you can find out, how long a block have to be. This is calculated in rounds. That means, the tool says you the distans from the block garisons to the block camp, how many rounds they have to fight and in which round the first defeat can be at earliest.
That's for beginners and tactical map writer with expirience a helpful tool.
If ther's a bug or if you have a question you're welcome to write in this thread or to me.
Updates will be as an upgrade version as well, so saved results will be saved still after an update.

Help: choose kind of block
simple Block : A simple block means that you only block one camp. If you don’t have much experience with calculate blocks, you should begin with simple blocks. It's important, that the general only would catch from the block camp and not from another camp.
Go on with Input Window
double- block : If you want to calculate a double- block, you should already have some experience with simple blocks.
At a double block, you're blocking 2 camps.
That means your general would catch from two camps on the way to the leader camp. Now, you're going to block both camps, so the fighting general can go to the leader camp without any problems.
If you choose "double-block" this window is opening: Window "double block"
Now, we know if we want to make a simple or double block. Now, we only have to choose in the drop-down-list.
Tip: You can also write a s for simple block or a d for double-block.
