thankyou Gerontius ive tried most of the steps required stopping all production of iron ,coal copper , brought vast amounts of steel from other users to produce steel swords ,when production is complete as showed by a tick the quest is not complete as i then lose coal and iron which is then shown as incomplete
well still not having any success with this time to pack up and leave the game ,so far ive had all ticks to boxes but as soon as i complete on task ,agreen box reverts back
The reason you're not having success is because you haven't understood what you're supposed to be doing. Try reading my guide again focusing on the bits that explain what the quest is actually asking you to do.
It is a difficult quest to get right, but it can be done. Following a guide can help....
What's so difficult about it?
Upgrade your pinewood cutters to level 3 and buff them
Upgrade your iron mines to level 2
Upgrade your coal mines to level 2 and coking plants to level 3 plus buff them
Upgrade your iron smelters to level 3 and buff them
Upgrade your steel smelter to level 2 and buff it
Now comes the only difficult part: produce 120 steel swords.
Impossible with an ordinary buff on a level 2 steel weaponsmith. There are two options (as far as I know):
1) Place it close to a warehouse and use a buff that tripples production value (I recommend a roasted duck as buff). That should bring you above 120.
2) Upgrade to a level 3 steel weaponsmith, which is expensive for a low level player.
But, you are lucky. There's a known calculation bug. Sometimes BB not solving problems can be to our advantage.
While upgrading buildings, your production value is for some reason always enough. So, if you are upgrading your iron mines to level 2 for example, then you have enough iron production. More important, the same bug goes for the steel swords weaponsmith. It means that if you are okay for all except the 120 steel swords and you upgrade your steel weaponsmith at that moment (works also when upgradding to level 2), than for some reason you have a production value of > 120 steel swords.
Quest completed.
they have fixed that bug when production is upgrading to bi the same amount, now its zero from object with upgrade in progress
maybe its cheper to build more steel weaponsmiths then upgrading them, after that, you can destroy them, and try everything to be buffed, best solutions fish plates the cheapest one buffs
