Something off with the fast copper mines.

I have a bug that needs to be checked by other players so please read through and see if this is something you can confirm.

Here is the setup.

Geologist is affected by these upgraded:
• Natural copper vain lvl3 & Hidden stone stash lvl2
• Quality copper mineshafts lvl3 & Two marble in one lvl2
• Copper mine surplus lvl3 & Natural marble vain lvl2
• Quality coal mineshafts lvl3 & Gold mine surplus lvl2

He finds deposits of 827 copper ore and I first build mines on the fast ones. The non-fast ones I rip down and search again and repeat the process until all are fast. All 3 mines are than upgraded to lvl3 and buffed with baskets by a friend.

Under these conditions and factoring the travel time they should all run out more or less on that one basket. However sometimes they behave like they are 4 times as fast as normal. They run out in 4h to 4.5h.

First time I though I’ve made some kind of mistake but this process repeated itself again and I kept an eye on all factors. Something is off here and I can’t find out what.

I didn’t not stop the whole copper using industry during that time so I can’t say how much copper ore got made by the mines. But that’s not the issue here. The problem is the speed with which these mines got exhausted.

So please comment if you had any experience like that.

Follow up to this.

I’ve tested this together with a friend in the game. It first started when we added the skill of fast coal mines on our geologist. These have a production time of 45sec and somehow that now applies to copper mines too.

I’ve used a normal clock to see how fast the number on the deposit is going down and it was going at a twice faster rate. Than this hic up in the game happens when the whole island freezes for a second and then the production bar in the copper mines overview resets to start again.

Same thing happened to me on sector 4.

Level 2 Copper mines with quality shaft supposed to last 12 hours, but exaust after 4-5 hours! So with a lot of basket time left!

It happened quite a few times. I'm not sure if it gives more ore or if the deposit just exausts quicker; I did not notice a BIG increase in the mine production.
