Finesmiths and nible in Science System phase 2

Is there already news on the Science System phase 2?
Once all your geologists have been 'manuscripted' and once you proceduced enough manuscripts for your Tomes, it seems that your Finesmith became useless. There is no need anymore to produce nib (unless you'd like to trade it). There's no possibility to transfer it into another resource via the Provision House, so I'm about to delete my (highly upgraded) Finesmith.
Since manuscripts are non-tradable, it's neither useful to keep producing manuscripts.

In the end, all science buildings will become needless and can be deleted. Big question however is: when?

I would appreciate therefore a little info on what's coming before I start doing stupid things.

How many geologists do you have? Unless the answer is 'one', then there's no reason for you to worry. You won't stop producing manuscripts any time soon...

Not only that but the cost of production goes up every 11th book so if anything you gonna need more...

Why delete the buildings knowing that further phases are coming, i.e. explorers, generals and island trees? Patience, young grasshopper.

My advice would be to refrain from doing "stupid things" regardless of the info you may receive. =-]

Book costs are going to cause a few probs for ppl soon. I just made my 60th manuscript and 20th tome! Here are some details for those who haven't made this many yet:

Manuscript no.61 = 455 simple paper, 355 nibs, 18 coins.

Tome no.21 = 350 advanced paper, 240 print type, 2 manuscripts.

The price is still reasonable atm but could be tricky when it costs 4 manuscripts per tome and so on. At this rate of price increase per book ill have to seriously think about what to upgrade as a lot of books will be needed when the island upgrades arrive!
Ive just put the Bookbinder on a 7 day upgrade, which I should've done sooner as I wasted a lot of glue on a lev 4 bookbinder. :(
