Refresh usually works for me. And they usually have found the stones they report that they can't find.
Update: having just restarted my browser, I now see a totally different picture with several visible deposits, even though my geologist keep reporting only failures...
So, 2 issues:
1) Map display not updating on its own.
2) Geologist probably reporting failures even when he get a result.
Exactly the same problem as I have had. At least we don't have to empty cache to get it to work again.
vist a friends island and deposit will appear
