Ok, say you have two smelters, sawmills or other structures; both are halfway through their process but you're out of resources... currently, however, the only way to continue is to get more resources. What do you do?
This idea would be a button on any production structure that takes all the materials in progress from those of the same type, consolidating them into one batch.
you're coming up with some nice ideas, but I'm sure most here just want the bugs gone, the sliders changed, the buffs stacked etc.. before any of these are even looked at. Sorry to dampen your thread, but there are many more worthy suggestions (over 18 months old) that I personally would rather see actioned first :(
I'm not against improvements to make player's gaming experience easier. Last year I posted an interface suggestion to change all the red writing (indicating missing resources and such) to orange, in order to support those who have colour blindness, but they said in no uncertain terms they weren't going to do that.
It seems there are some things they are prepared to improve and other they aren't but, after being on the Test Server for a while, a lot of it trends towards new stuff, not fixing old issues.
The way raw material is taken from the storage is going to change so that the production wont start if you don't have the required resources.

Too many good ideas just ignored, for years as well. They've downgraded easter collection event from 1 message with 10 eggs to the star menu for mayor transfer to 1 egg per message then 10 transfers of 1 at a time to the star menu. The request for less pointless clicking must have been lost in translation or something
