Produce scaffold rods?

Sooooo...... In PH scaffold rods are mentioned like this:
prntscr.com/3hutsb
So where do I produce these scaffold rods which really seem to be another name for bronze swords?
I am confused!??
Or do TSO simply mean produce 50 iron swords from scaffold rods? So why don't they say so?????

I think the quest requirement should be: "Produce enough Scaffold Rods to obtain at least 50 iron swords"
