[Dev Diary] Granite Pit, new Special Goldmine, Quest Experience Points to Starcoins
Granite Pit v2, Special Goldmine, Quest Experience points to Star Coins: First Insights Dear Settlers!
A new version is planned to be deployed on the 22nd of July. It will (re)introduce a building many of you have been waiting for. Also, a new special goldmine will be available for a limited time only. Last but not least there is news about Quest XP to Star Coins conversion!
Let's start with the The Granite Pit:
- Level requirement: Minimum level for the new building is 26
- Capacity: Includes 3.000 units of granite. It uses 3 units to produce one granite (resource)
- Upgrades: It can be upgraded to level 5. For each upgrade it uses 3 more units of granite inside the building to produce one extra. I.e. with level two: 6 units used, 2 units output
- Limitation: Purchase cooldown time of 1 week
- Tradable / Giftable: No
- Building license: No building license is needed
- Buffs: The output can be increased by using productivity buffs
- Refill: Can be refilled with omniseeds
- Moving: It is not possible to move this building
- Recurring: The building won't go back to the star menu when it's depleted or when you demolish it. There is a warning message when you want to destroy it
A new building will be introduced for a limited time.
The "Special Goldmine":
- Level requirement: Minimum level for the new building is 24
- Upgrades: No upgrades possible
- Limitation: Exact duration not decided yet
- Tradable / Giftable: Yes
- Building license: No building license is needed
- Buffs: The output can be increased by using productivity buffs
- Refill: Can be refilled
- Moving: It is not possible to move this building
- Recurring: The building won't go back to the star menu when it's depleted or when you demolish it
Last but not least, we've got good news for all level 50 players! Once you reached level 50, XP from quests was lost.
This will change in the new game version with "XP to Star Coins".
The following information applies to level 50 players only: - Open quests: All open quests will provide Star Coins instead of XP
- Upcoming quests: All upcoming quests will provide Star Coins instead of XP
All former XP rewards from quests that were not taken into account by the game because of the level-cap will be refunded as Star Coins a few weeks later.
During one of the weekly maintenances to follow, a special script will gather all information, calculate the amount of Star Coins and refund them directly to the account. More information will be provided soon.
