Meeting whit developers
Bluebyte why not organize a meeting between developers and players(twitch tv)? It seems clear that the old game developers have been reassigned to another project and some new ones have no idea how to continue the work !! Why not rely on the community? Ubisoft is a goal of making the game die? I believe that a face to face meeting with the players on a daily basis offering solutions and new ideas, which every day to play a game with an end game over! I think we have reached a point where you have to put the mask of humility if you want to make this game exceptional as the dawn! We do not need new buildings stupid useless! We need concrete and consistency !! Be sure to involve the community in your choices, or from the initial 1.5 million of players will arrive at 1.5 million deaths account !! Hoping for your awareness, GOOD JOB!

good ideea..but i dont think they will be interested

Meet the players on a daily basis! Are you insane.

The idea has merit but don't think more than the German realms would be involved even if it did take off, Settlers and Anno are very strong in Germany and I don't suppose Ubisoft would lose much sleep even if every player on the 3 English speaking realms quit tomorrow.
-
They don't even take any notice of stuff posted in here, so what makes you think meeting them would make any difference?
-
While daily face to face meetings with the devs is not doable, players did have the opportunity to meet the devs recently at gamescom.

Ravel, when the devs come to Belfast, please let me know. I'm certainly not travelling to Cologne to be ignored. Can you give a genuine reason why they won't participate in regular (even quarterly would be good, monthly better) webchats/forum updates with the forum community who know the bugs and the game inside out and who are actually suggesting useful improvements that don't involve granite pits? If they have time to go to GamesCom they can't be so busy that they can't take an hour once every 3 months to listen to the people who know what they're talking about?

Jimmian, as far as I know there isn't a trip to Belfast planned at this time.
I don't make the schedule for the devs so I can't speak for their time table. I will communicate your suggestion, but I doubt there is enough time for daily meetings (as originally suggested).
Feedback, bugs, suggestions and concerns of the community are already passed on by the CMs on a regular basis.

Thanks for the reply Ravel. I believe that the feedback/bugs etc are passed along, but there is absolutely nothing coming the other way and that's what people are frustrated about. I understand you're trying to be the conduit in the middle and it's a very difficult job, but there are only so many times you can say "I've passed that on but I have no more information at this time" before it gets old. This forum is flooded with some really excellent (and some really terrible!) suggestions but they aren't discussed from a development perspective as to why they can/cannot or should/should not be implemented. That's what people want. The original post may have said daily but I think monthly or quarterly would be fine - the key is regular and constructive two-way communication. Doesn't it frustrate you when you pass information over and nothing useful comes back? It would drive me mad!
