It's been mentioned in other posts that more possible levels could be an option, but that might be quite a re-engineering because I would think you would need to introduce more building levels as well. I think that more adventures would be helpful - especially if there were varying epic-level adventures. What I mean by varying epic is that 1) It would take a massive amount of troops to complete and 2) The enemy camps would change location and strengths each time you started a new one. The experienced players could then work with strategy/blocks without the benefit of a guide and would have to re-think things each time. Would be quite a challenge.
The code to randomly place enemy camps within sectors would be manageable I would think - start with the collectible algorithm that prevents them all being clustered in the same location, expand that to locate the sector leader 'away' from the edge of the sector (that would be too easy to defeat if he was on the leading edge) and there ya go! Would give the most experienced player some thinking work I expect.
