Gem Sale

Did I just miss a gem sale? I am sure I saw something somewhere a day or two ago about a 100% bonus to any gems purchased. I am only fairly new to the game and wasn't quite ready to delve into that sort of commitment. I am now ready to go ahead with a purchase but can't see anything about the sale or if I just imagined it from other games. Would like to make the most of it as I don't get the opportunity to make in game purchases very often.

Isn't a whole lot of info about how often they occur etc.... should I hold out or are they quite rare?

EDIT: I should also ask, does the starter pack get influenced by the bonus periods or is that separate?

gem sales only last 24hrs, but they do happen quite often, approx. once a month.

Hi Elzaer, the starter packs don't get influenced by bonus offers. They are fixed, in my experience if you can get them at a good price they are usually at least comparable and often better to the bonus offer cost per gem but check each at the time. This is a good game and worth buying gems for, best to invest your gems in building licences and gempits initially if you ask me.
