Colonies fun? I believe so, yes . Check out the links at end of message for some informations and screenies and viedo tutorial.
Important to know
You can start colonies when you are vl 30 but they eat lots of iron so best wait till you have enough resources and a stable production.
You can change te order in wich your troops are attacking whilst they are fighint! This is key to a succesfull expedition. Check out the video in the link below. It wil show you how it's done. It's very important to keep watchinga the fight coz you wil ahve to change the order of you troops and adjust to the enemy troops that will fight next.
All attacktroops have a bonus over a certain type of enemytroop. If you use that bonus correctly it will save troops so you will be able to counter the enemy with only 2/3 in troops. For example you will need only 60 troops to counte 80 of the enemy. Thsi way it is possible to take out camps with more then 100 enemies eventhough you can only attach 100 troops to your general. If you get it wrong and the enemy has bonus over your troops they will die very fast. You can find out what bonus they have by hovering over them when attaching them to generals.
Heavy troops do not have a bonus but they are perfect for blocking since they take a long time to die, about 3 sec. per heavy troop. The block is meant to get the attacking gen past the influence zone of the blocking camp. Once that's done the blocking gen can die. You could send lots of heavy troops to save the blocking general but that's rather epxensive and since troop numbers are limited it's best not to do that. Be carefull that you take into account the bonus of the enemy. If he has bonus over Melitia and Ranged troops you should send heavey cavalry to block that specific camp otherwise your block won't last long eWhen attacking guard doggs prepare for a huge blast. Blocking gens are supposed to die, you can make medipacks in rarity prov house, but you can use just 4 per expedition so be caerfull as to not waste too many generals so you will have enough gens left to block and attack the final camp. Since recovering takes 4 hours that's not really an option since most maps have to be done in 4 ohurs.
Cancelling an expedition will lose you 1 strenght point.

When you have to do 2 waves on the map boss you can block just once even if the blocking camps have an influence zone that overlaps with the mapp boss. Make sure both generals are in the castle (one of the is waiting for it's turn) before the blocking gens die and the 2nd gen won't get intercepted
Travel to the map is super fast, traveling back takes 30 min.
You have limited amount of troops you can take so not much room for error. Dead troops can't be replaced if you reached max troops.
Most camps can be skipped you do not have to take out all the leaders. Just the final map boss. Sometimes it will save troops though to take out a leader so some camps that are in the way of the map boss will be gone. Send 1 general up ahead with some attack troops (with a nice mix of all troops) to check out how many camps lie between you and the map boss. Try differnt positions on the map. Pretend you are goingn to attack the final boss. It will show you how many camps wil intercept. Once you find out how many to take out, decide what camps can be blocked. Then check what troops you will need to get it all done and then send the other gens to the map with the correct troops.
