How to delete account?

Hi,

I want to know if it possible to delete my account. I want to play the steam version but can't get the name for my avatar, because it is already taken by the avatar in Uplay version. There's any way to link the steam version to the Uplay version? Or any way to delete my Uplay avatar e account to allow the name to be taken by the Steam version?

you cannot transfer accounts between uplay and steam.
the only way to delete an account is to contact support.

The FAQs say that you need to contact support to delete an account, but I did that and they did not help.
I contacted support and they told me I had to delete account on my profile page, but I could not find where to do it.
So I have contacted support again. I hope I don't get the runaround again, it should not be this difficult to do.
