Plus Gems seem a bit exy might be tempted to buy some if they were a bit cheaper or you got more.

100% gams sale was 1-2 weeks ago
Gem sales (Happy Hours - as they are called on TSO) are not announced in advance, but they do last for 24 hours, so as long as you check the home page every day, there's no way you can miss it.
