worked a treat...yet to test on battlefield but i guess there should be no problem...thank you again for the solution :-)
Lots of people, including me a little ago. Clicking the tick fixed mine and brought my empty News tab back to life. o.O There may be stickier cases that want refreshing but this workaround is odd enough, and can be instant enough, I had to comment and bump it, nice catch! You know, I actually had to think about commenting in this thread. While I do completely understand how frustrating TSO can be, ATHTHEMANIAC you have a history of going a little overboard with the insults.
So I do thank you for the Quick Fix and feel for your bugloss but you might rethink how you express some of your anger.
All I can say is this is driving me nuts, I try the event window thing.
I solved this problem by clicking on the icon with the pumpkin where counting down to the end of the event and then click on the question mark (?). Fine and both times when I had news tab problems.
