Returns 1 manuscript on short 2 day search.
Returns 1 Tome on Medium 7 day search.
Returns 1 Codex on Long 28 day search.

The search time is too long too long. (1 day / 2 day / 7 day can be acceptable)
/1 codex = 5 day now: lvl6 bookbinder with buff, 4 products/day/

In my option better idea if they
- fix the drop rate of the 'Return To The Bandit Nest' adventure.
- give us queue for bookbinder.

I deliberately decided to set the search lengths at some thing lower than what a maxed out bookbinder could produce but higher than the possible return rate from "RtBN", I feel BB would be more open to the suggestion if such a explorer is not overpowered in the manner you suggest.
