Codices for Geologists

I have a quest to invest 11 codexes/codices in one of my geologists
I got to 8, and yesterday used 3 more.
But I am still showing 8 - 3 more needed

did you put all 11 in the same geologist?

No .... but the others are at maximum

I was almost stuck with the same problem. As someone pointed out to me, you need to put the minimum books on each row (which is 5 per row) and then when you get to codex you will be able to finish the 11. Any extra books on the lower rows will prevent it. You might have to add a geologist or suffer the pain of refunding the books.
