Rankings

I was looking at the rankings, I clicked on United Kingdom and it's the EU flag not the Union flag(it's only called the union jack on a ship), why is this exactly? Other nations seem to be represented.

This is the EU English instance.

So in others words, all other nations get represented apart from the UK.

I agree kendris, Germany, France etc are all in the EU yet their flags are used on the rankings table.

The rankings show what instance (version) a player is from, not which country. Germany and France (to take your examples) have their own language instance.

As I mentioned when I click on "United Kingdom" it brings up the EU flag, I asked why this was the case, if the option specifies which nation it should be represented as such should it not?

Gotcha. The dropdown should say EU English, I think. These servers used to be UK servers. I've brought it to BB_Ravel's attention that there is an inconsistency there.
As I said before, eg France and Germany are not represented as "nations" but TSO instances.

Fair enough although, why don't they just write an array to detect which country the user logs in from and display the correct nationality it'd be more inclusive for everyone.

Mind you, we will then have the Welsh, Scottish and Irish wanting their flags. Btw, the Union jack isn't the English flag, the St George's Cross is.

This attack on our great nations sovereignty is intolerable, the theft of our language will not go unpunished. Erm anyone got a link to a sim so I can work out how many recruits I need to attack Brussels :)
