GuildQuest Auto Complete

as you can see this quest is completed.

Well this is the story of a player that was doing his/her guild quest, sell 30 cannons to another player and complete or experience 2 adventures.

He happily sold 30 cannons.

He also happily started an adventure and sent his generals to it. He was able to complete said adventure despite the fact he sent a general without any troops.

he checked the questbook Guild quest section, the part that asked to sell the cannons was complete, the part asking to experience 2 adventures had a green bar 50% completed.
He nervously started the second adventure and completed this one too, no problems here.

On going to the quest book and the Guild quest part of it the quest had auto completed, the player(me)(he or she) didn't have to do anything.

I'm not complaining but this is the third time this happens to me that a quest asking me to do adventures (yes multiple) auto completes.
Is this a bug?
Is this a new feature?

And why isn't it happening every time?
