Missing Crystals

hello Settlers!
I came here, a few month ago ^0^
I think i found something like bug.

i have 3300+ more crystals in my The Excelsior. checked a few days ago (i don't remember exact)
but they gone. now i have only 348 Crystals left in there.

at that time, i only used by my crystals some items for make one letter.
so, sudden, i got a qestion

"In regular, How many need Crystals to make one letter?"

this can possible?

The crystals have been in the game for about 3,5 months and we get ~10 of them every day (at least I get) so it's impossible to have ~3300 crystals (3,5x30x10=1050).

Any chance you are mixing crystals and gems?

maybe your right. probably my mistaken.
