Snow in ventures

I started the venture "El Chupacabra" today, while having the buff "A Thousand Snowflakes" active on my island and when I went to the adventure map, it was all full of snow!

I'm pretty sure that there isn't supposed to be snow on a tropical island, so I checked screenshots of the adventure and surprise, no snow. I went back to my home island, canceled the buff and went back to the adventure, which then looked like this:

Some snow is still there and the area around the Excelsior was flickering between snow-no snow so I refreshed and that got the venture back to normal colour. Reapplying the buff "A Thousand Snowflakes" brings snow back to the venture map as well.

I haven't tried to do any other venture with this nor the "Winter terrain paint" buffs, but I will post here if the same thing happens again.

I am using Chrome version 55.0.2883.87 (64-bit) with Flash 24.0.0.194 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

Oh, I thought the tropical filter that was in the changelog for the 24th was referring to that, as I posted here. I'll check the rest either way and let you know.
