Dear Settlers,

Take a peek through the door to see what new features we've prepared for this year's Halloween Event! A new specialist, two new buildings, Seasonal Adventures and a new quest line are only some of the highlights to be tested on our public test server today!

First: there'll be a 2018 New Quest Chain: The Terrorized Town, a campaign consisting of multiple very short adventures. This quest chain frames a series of new adventures that tell a dramatic story on a single island. You might wonder why the same island? Here's what our game designers have to say about it:

We want to experiment with a single balancing for all level ranges and aim to use The Black Knights as a reference point for difficulty.

The Seasonal Adventures will also make a much-awaited comeback! The following adventures will drop twice the normal amount of resources and refills upon completion and also award twice the amount of experience points.

But that's not all our developers prepared for you! ;) Introducing two new buildings: The Haunted Mansion - a population building home to 145 settlers; even your friendly neighbourhood ghosts too! What's great about it is its ability to transform the wildlife on your home zone; when you first place a Haunted Mansion, you'll receive a simple quest. On completion, a 1-day variation of the Ouija Board (ghost wildlife) buff will be applied to the home island. The building will be available at the in-game merchant for 2,450 Pumpkins.

The Laboratory - which you can see below - will be available at the in-game merchant as well for 2,999 Pumpkins and is a production building offering a variety of resource conversions.
