Reason to hit max level

When new max level 80 was introduced I heard a lot of people saying "why should I bother?".

Imagine you could obtain a special "epic" building after hitting lvl80. Something truly amazing.. underwater pyramid, little side island with a temple, or something similar.

Now there are two things/purposes I can thing of:
1. esthetical: you will still gaining experience after top level and after each experience milestone, building will receive another graphical 'upgrade'. Like a statues lining the road to building etc.. You simply level up your epic building.
2. functional: long cooldown activation ability.. And what would be truly epic, worth grinding the experience? Throwing all your island to star menu.. all buildings with their upgrades! Allowing you redesign your island to your desires.

more recipes could be also introduced, but to be honest: more resources, more troops, more buffs its enough to lure people into grinding.

Within what the game has to offer ? nothing, outside of accomplishment of getting to max level.

imagine that outside of very specific circumstances and stacking all available multipliers getting to that level is mathematically impossible for most players, so why should they bother.

The last real goal in this game hit lvl70, the weekly ship quests "The Pathfinder".
No real reason to more lvl up. Only maybe star coins after lvl80 instead of exp, Why rush?
BB will raise lvl cap again, and you won't get star coin again.

Last building is the manor (lvl71) but when you reach the lvl71, you don't have population problems.
Between lvl72 and lvl 80 nothing new.

More content would be good purpose to lvl up. For example they introduces a very good quest chain on test server, if it would be avaiable after lvl 73 that is a small step again.

maybe after they'll move to another platform of some sort

until then, this is is it guess :)
